Today we will introduce you to Ha Long Bay


Ha Long Bay (the bay where the dragon landed) is a small bay on the west coast of the Gulf
of Tonkin in the Northeastern sea area of Vietnam, including the island waters of Ha Long
city, Cam Pha town and part of Ha Long Bay. Van Don island district. - bounded to the
Northeast by Bai Tu Long Bay; the Southwest borders on Cat Ba archipelago; West and
Northwest

2. Ha Long Bay is limited to an area of about 1,553km² including 1,960 large and small
islands, most of which are limestone islands, of which the core area of the Bay has an area
of 334km² with a dense cluster of 775 islands.

3. The Gulf's limestone tectonic history spans about 500 million years with very different
paleo-geographic circumstances; and full karst evolution over 20 million years with a
combination of factors such as thick limestone bed, hot and humid climate, and overall slow
tectonic uplift.

4. Ha Long Bay becomes the convergence of biodiversity including tropical moist evergreen
closed forest ecosystems and marine and coastal ecosystems with many sub-ecosystems.
14 endemic plant species and about 60 endemic animal species have been discovered
among thousands of flora and fauna inhabiting the Gulf.

5. In 1994, the core area of Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural
Heritage with aesthetic value (standard vii), and was re-recognized for the second time with
its outstanding global geo-geological value. Ha Long Bay (standard viii) in 2000. • Along with
Nha Trang Bay of Vietnam, Ha Long Bay is one of the 29 bays ranked and officially
recognized by the Club of the World's Most Beautiful Bays in July, 2003.

6. Dau Go Cave: The cave is located on Dau Go Island, in the past this island was called
Canh Doc Island. Dau Go Cave exudes an ancient, wild and quiet beauty with many small
stone pillars, pillars, stalagmites, soaring as if reaching to the blue sky... The cave has a rich
diversity of flora and fauna. . Due to the wide opening of the cave, the humidity in the cave is
high, plus the influence of sunlight, it is possible to immediately see the diverse development
of flora, especially mosses, ferns and mosses. This is a distinctive feature compared to
many other caves in Ha Long Bay.
7.Sung Sot Cave Located in the central area of the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay,
Sung Sot Cave in Bo Hon Island. This is the largest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay.
The way up to Sung Sot cave is under the forest canopy, the stone steps are craggy, visitors
have both the pleasure of climbing and the excitement as if they are going to the sky. The
cave is divided into two main compartments, the entire first compartment is like a large and
spacious theater. This is the largest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. The way to
Sung Sot cave is threaded under the forest canopy, the stone steps are craggy, visitors have
both the pleasure of climbing and the excitement as if they are going to the sky.
