ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We would like to express my greatest
gratitude to the people who have
helped & supported us throughout my
project. We are grateful to our teacher
for her continuous support for the
project, from initial advice & contacts
to ongoing advice & encouragement to
this day. We wish to thank our parents
for their undivided support and
interest have inspired us and
encouraged us.
Without them, we would be unable
to complete our project...

Apparatus Required
Procedure
 Wear eye protection.
 Chemical gloves recommended.
 Use proper protective gear.
 Reduce the risk of electric shock.
 Do not wear metallic jewellery while
working with any electrical circuits.
 Hold solar panels with two hands while
transporting.
OBSERVATIONS

The structure of the solar cell reported here is schematically shown

in figure . The solar cell is composed of fluorine-doped tin oxide as a
transparent electrode, 7 photon-absorbing particles, a polymer
electrolyte and a counter electrode. We trailed three composites as
photon-absorbing particles: TiO2 only, graphite only, and a mixture
of graphite and TiO2. We also deposited a copper bridge in the
space between particles to facilitate electron transport
Conclusion
We demonstrated that a design of solar cells having a
TiO2/graphite mixture as an active (absorber) material can
reach an efficiency of approximately 1.09%, much higher
than solar cells using TiO2 only (0.03%) or graphite only
(0.12%) as the active material. Owing to its easy and flexible
fabrication, and easy scaling up to very large areas, the
reported solar cell model is promising for mass application,
especially in low-income communities.
