. To all the brilliant facilitators, active participants of this 3-day cluster INSET. Good morning.
According to John Gardner,” Commitment requires hard work in the heat of the day ; it requires faithful
exertion in behalf of chosen purposes and enhancement of chosen values. I am sure that everyone of us
now is well equipped with the knowledge, skills and techniques we have learned during this 3 day INSET.
At this juncture, Requesting everyone to please stand and raise your right hand. Together we will read
our commitment to the Department of Education.
We, the Secondary Educators of Tigbao District, take this pledge to commit ourselves, with utmost
sincerity, to uphold the highest standard the Department of Education set us up. After this 3-day INSET
we pledge to cascade the right move to implement program mandated to us in one voice, one spirit,
anchored in the mission, vision and core-values of the Department of Education.
As an educator, I promise to teach to the best of my ability every day to learners with whom I will help
into thinkers and doers.
I promise to work hard and to be diligent in my planning, enthusiastic in my delivery and comprehensive
in my assessment of instruction.
I will constantly seek to improve my way of teaching; I will strive to gain knowledge and skills that will
enhance the learning of my learners through collaboration with other teachers.
I will in the best way possible, keep my learners safe. I will create environment that is safe and
comfortable and will do anything to maintain so that maximum learning can take place.
I will work with my colleagues in professional manner and together we can inspire one another to
continue to work towards the same goal of educating learners.
I will always try to lead by example and will strive to maintain high standards of professionalism.
I pledge to submit reports on time and allocate time whenever needed by our department “Para sa Bata,
at para sa Bayan”.
