PERFORMANCE CHART
Our performance chart provides a visual overview of typical air performances for the NEVADA, CIRRUS and STRATUS ranges of air handling units. For larger sizes and bespoke requirements, please enquire. As a guide.. Direct Drive units should be predominantly selected where lower air volumes are required for the application, due to the compact nature of the unit, lower maintenance and overall costs. Belt Drive units tend to be selected where higher air volumes and resistances are required, alongside specialist requirements at lower air volumes. As you will see from the Performance chart, a unit with a particular volume can be selected from more than one size of unit. The best selection for performance and cost would normally be found in the middle of the chart, for example, Model SA55 Belt Drive for 2.0 m3/sec - Heating only. If plant space is at a premium, the smallest unit should be selected, however, please note this will often increase motor sizes and sound levels to overcome the higher resistance of the unit.
