     Create a readable and eye-catching layout for entire publication through Adobe InDesign by integrating visual
    images and stories from approximately 5 reporters once per week; created approximately 35 layouts
     Determine individual page layout for 16-page paper by utilizing Adobe InDesign and Illustrator and follow
    budget provided by Editor-in-Chief for paper
     Proof 16-page newspaper issue weekly to ensure stories and layouts are concise and correct
     Utilize Adobe InDesign or Illustrator to create graphs and charts based on section editor or Editor-in-Chief
    recommendations to provide better understanding of story
     Effectively communicate with assistant designer in creating layouts as well as with section editors and Editor-in-
    Chief each day
     Edit photographs provided by reporters utilizing Photoshop to brighten photographs prior to print
