Dear Parents
In our endeavour to ensure that the students learn, gain knowledge and evolve, it is vital to assess what they have
learnt and retained in the first term of the academic year 2022-2023.

The Modern School, ECNCR is organizing Half Yearly Examination for the students of classes P3-P5 from
September onwards. Datesheet, syllabus and blueprint are mentioned below for your kind perusal. Kindly revise
the concepts with your ward and prepare accordingly.

The Half Yearly Examination will be of 60 marks and will comprise of :

1. Multiple Choice Questions (20 marks)
2. Subjective Exam (40 marks)

The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. In Hindi and English (language) exam MCQs will
be included in the main question paper and in other subjects MCQs will be given separately.

Oral and Practical assessments in various curricular and co-curricular subjects will take place during the regular
periods in the month of August and September.
