Section 1: Executive Summary
SaTEAsfied is a newly established milk tea shop in Cambaro, Mandaue City Cebu. SaTEAsfied is a
limited liability sole proprietorship, managed by its owner Marcelino. Marcelino has three years
of experience in working as a boba-barista. His love and knowledge of milk teas will make the
transition to owning and running a milk tea shop a natural step.
SaTEAsfied will offer varieties of flavors such as matcha, winter melon, vanilla, dark chocolate,
cappuccino, and more. We will sell our milk tea as ready to drink bottled beverage. Our milk tea
will be an extraordinary substitute for any beverages which suits to our tropical weather while
offering the best to our customers.
In addition, we offer delivery for those who are far from the area. Free delivery within Opao
and Umapad while delivery fee will be implemented when outside the stated areas. We also
have Facebook page where you can easily contact us.
In Philippines, the milk tea market is increasing rapidly. In 2019, we're ranked second among the
countries with the most number of milk tea drinkers in Southeast Asia. According to statistics,
Filipinos consume an average five cups of milk tea in a month.
Our potential clientele is divided between local residents and tourists. We expect to easily
generate sales to existing committed milk tea lovers, who will immediately recognize the quality
of our products and services. Customers will be targeted based on their demographic (age,
income, occupation and education).

Philippine milk tea market is growing rapidly. According to statistics, Filipinos consume an
average of five cups of milk tea in a month. In addendum, we are ranked second among countries
with the most milk tea lovers.
In Cambaro, most of the population is composed of middle class. There is also a company in front
of our shop whose employees have a vacant time. Teenagers are also present in the locale which
have been hooked up with the craze trend of milk tea in social media. That is why we considered
their demographic (age, income, occupation, and education) as our target market.
Indeed, there are also existing competitions in the area. Eunitea a local milk tea stores and
other milk tea shops meters away from our area.
Market Trends
As for a general trend, the market demand for milk tea businesses is on the rise. Milk tea is one
of the most popular drinks with Filipinos. Milk tea sales have increased 95% since 2019. With
the number of milk tea shops offering different services rising about 15% to about 1,000 shops.
Filipinos interest in milk tea certainly owes some of its increase to proliferation of milk tea
shops around the country in this same period.

In our locale, the vacancy of workers, the availability of middle class, and the engagement of
teenagers to social media are tend to bode well for the success of our upscale milk tea shop.
SaTEAsfied aims to focus on target markets based on their demographics such as age, income,
occupation, and education. Furthermore, the geographical location of the shop is favorable due
to its tropical climate which will result for everyone to look for something delicious and cold
drinks.

Sales and Marketing plan are essential in the component of SaTEAsfied business plan. Hence, it
must be developed with great care and attention must be paid to every detail.
SaTEAsfied is a milk tea shop that deals with varieties of flavors. We will sell our milk tea as ready
to drink bottled beverage. Our milk tea will surely be an extraordinary beverage which will suits
to the tropical weather of our locale.

With the rise of social media especially Facebook which has the most users. We can easily
promote our product through this online platform. We will simply post all the details about our
products in our fb page (SaTEAsfied). Also, we provide giveaways and sales in a particular
occasion especially on holidays like Christmas and New year. So that, everyone must keep
updated at our fb page.
Our management style reflects the participation of owner; we are not very hierarchical, and
encourage our employees to learn as much as possible about all the aspects of business. The
shop respects its community of co-workers and will treat all workers as well.

Referring to the physical location which creates the atmosphere of the shop, there is some sort
of improvements that are needed for the shop to look even more astounding. The application of
wall paintings in correlation to shop’s theme is one of the best idea. Also, regular inspection for
electrical equipment and water treatments is essential to avoid the risks of emerging danger.

Workflow
Before the shop opens at 10:00 am, workers must clean the surrounding. Afterward, they will
prepare all the equipment at their intended location. As the shop opens, workers are not eligible
to do things which are not related in the business like the use of smartphone for personal use. At
exactly 12:00 p.m., they'll have their lunch break but still, the operation of the shop is still in
continuation. Same at evening, where, they'll have their break for meal at 6:00 pm. The shop will
be officially closed at 10:00 pm due to quarantine protocols.
Our Financial Plan refers to depth research into related businesses in similar neighborhoods and
cost estimates attained for equipment, rent, and other operating expenses. As a sole
proprietorship type of business venture, we have the leeway to adjust our compensation if sales
are too low in a given month, but our projections are conservative. Repaying our long-term loan,
paying our employees fairly, covering our expenses on time, and generating a modest profit are
the main priorities of the shop in the first three years.
The owner's passion and knowledge for milk teas are the reason for the opening of the shop.
However, we still foresee steadily increasing revenues and net worth.
Sales development will be hostile in the first year as we sharpen our product assortment, size
scales, and stock levels to better meet our customer’s requirements. We expect a sales increase
of roughly 10% during our second year of operation.
Shop extension, while not a necessity, will be an opportunity if sales forecasts are fulfilled and/or
surpassed. The locale we have selected comprises an additional area we can link for extra seating
if and when it becomes necessary, for a small additional rental charge.
