Explain the legal framework of your business and its organizational structure.

As the entrepreneur who will be leading a business, what are your main responsibilities as a proprietor
or CEO for the business you plan to establish?
ANSWER:

I will be leading the business and as the CEO of a T-shirt printing business my main responsibilities
are:
 Define the sources for capital
 Product research and market research- finding my niche to my product and knowing what
the customers want from my business.
 Setting a branding for the business
 Creating own styles and designs- monitoring new trends in the fashion industry and
incorporating it on my designs.
 Marketing strategy- marketplace to sell the product, Facebook Ads, T-shirt Ad Mockups etc.
 Costing or setting the prices & comparing it to my competition and assess the expenses
 Stock Control or Inventory- keeping track of my stocks.
 Planning out or having a launching strategy

Legal Environment
Describe the following:

 Choose between Sole Proprietor, Partnership or Corporation. What form best suits your
business and why?
ANSWER:

Partnerships best suits my business as it is the simplest structure for two or more people to
own a business together. Partnerships have no formal paperwork requirements, easy to set up
and maintain and have higher chances of growth which I can apply to my start-up business.
Each partner contributes to all aspects of the business and shares in the profits and losses of
the business. I love that in partnership, we can share the work, decision-making, financial
pressures, etc

 Will you be applying as a Barangay Micro-Business Enterprise? According to R.A. 9178, a


business valued below 3 Million pesos can apply as a BMBE. When certified by an LGU as one,
BMBEs can enjoy benefits (1) Income Tax Exemption, (2) Exemption from the coverage of the
Minimum Wage Law, (3) Priority to a special credit (4) „Technology transfer, production and
management training, and marketing assistance programs.

ANSWER:

Yes, as it will give my business an advantage and freedom from government control and taxes
and save money as well. Starting things right will ensure my business establishes a solid
foundation for my operations plus it helps our government to encourage other businesses to
get their business registered.

In securing BIR permit, it involves Fire Protection Clearance, Sanitary Clearance, Loctional
Clearance, Barangay Clearance and Electrical inspection Clearance

Must be copyrighted so that no one can illegally use my designs for any commercial activity

Who will manage the business on a day‐to‐day basis? What experience does that person bring to the

this person is lost or incapacitated?

ANSWER:

2, Me and my sister, as it is only a start-up and later, we might plan to hire another person to
help us.
 Type of labor (skilled, unskilled, and professional). Describe the quality of staff needed

Skilled, not necessary having a lot of knowledge but at least someone who has
experience in the T-shirt printing business.

 Where and how will you find the right employees?

ANSWER:

Through Linked-in or Job posting website and thru Social media platform. By putting job ads
on my social media; it can be a recruitment tool to look for the right employees.

 For certain functions, will you use part-time workers in addition to employees?
ANSWER:

Yes, if the workload is too much or there is a demand for it.
