The document provides cleaning instructions for a hot melt machine. It recommends wearing protective equipment and adjusting the machine temperature to 250°F. The instructions then list 7 steps: empty the tank; add a mineral spirits and paraffin mixture; purge the mixture; repeat if needed; reconnect and refill with the mixture; allow it to purge; and refill with hot glue to remove the mixture. It stresses doing this regularly and properly disposing of cleaning solvents.

During this operation it is recommended to wear protective equipment
(clothing, visor, and gloves) resistant to heat. Be very careful about splashing.
1. Disconnect hose and empty tank
2. Adjust the temperature of the tank, hose, and gun to 250°F 3. Close the pump and add a mixture of 50% mineral spirits Adsolve 6034 * and 50% paraffin. At this stage ensure you to wear an organic cartridge mask and ventilate sufficiently. Allow to warm for about 1 hour 4. Purge the mineral oil / paraffin mixture 5. Depending on the amount of carbon accumulated, this may need to be repeated. A mechanical cleaning (scraper) may be necessary 6. Reconnect the hose, fill the tank with the mineral oil / paraffin mixture. Allow the system to melt and purge. 7. Put back hot glue in the tank and purge until the mineral oil / paraffin mixture is completely removed
Important: this operation must be done regularly according to the
volume and the type of adhesive. Consult your representative for more information.
Cleaning solvents must be recovered and send to an accredited company
for the destruction of hazardous materials. For more information consult our technical department.
