    High tack PSA hot melt

    DESCRIPTION

    THERMOBOND MK 70290 is a high tack pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive. It has a very long open time and
    has good adhesive strength properties. It will remain tacky if protected from dust with a released paper.
    Specially design for pre-glued and lamination applications. THERMOBOND MK70290 has a very good adhesion
    on most plastic, polyurethane foam, clean metals, wood, and fabrics. THERMOBOND MK70290 can be
    detected under UV light.

    METHOD OF USE

    Surfaces must be free of dust, grease, oil, or other contaminants. Use ADSOLVE 6002 or ADSEAL CLEANER
    6003 for cleaning. Allow to evaporate 20 minutes before application of the adhesive. THERMOBOND MK70290
    can be applied using a hot melt system with nozzle (bead) or by vaporization (swirl). It can also be applied
    using mechanical heated roller or slot die for automated application.

    CLEANING

    For cleaning excess of adhesive, ADSOLVE 6034* can be used. For equipment consult the technical document:
    ‘’Cleaning procedure for hot melt machine’’ from Adfast. For the mechanical heated rollers let the adhesive
    cool down and protect it from dust or any other possible contaminant. Never change adhesive brand or type
    without cleaning the equipment first.

    PACKAGING

    STORAGE

    In its original packaging the adhesive has a lifetime of 36 months from the date of production. Store in a cool,
    dry place. Close the boxes after opening to avoid contamination with dust.
