6. Compare your hometown with another town.

My hometown is Thai Nguyen, which is quite close to Hanoi. I lived in Thai

Nguyen until I became a freshman at university. After that, I went to Hanoi to start my
studies at university. After about two years living in Hanoi, I realized there are some
distinctions between Thai Nguyen and Hanoi. The most visible point is the atmosphere.
Most of the day in my town is quiet. In contrast, Hanoi is always noisy all day. In parks,
streets always crowed with people and vehicles in Hanoi no matter in the morning or
night. The markets are open all day. Besides, the air quality in my hometown seems to be
better than in Hanoi. Because my hometown does not have many factories, companies, or
vehicles, like in Hanoi. The next difference is the relationship between people in an area.
I lived in a countryside where most people are relatives living close together in the same
area. And people in my hometown do not work as much as people in cities. So, they can
spend a lot of time talking and helping each other. There is a high sense of community in
my hometown. However, most people living in cities come from many different places.
And they work a lot to make money. Thus, they spend less time with others around them.
Even people in the same neighborhood may not know each other. Another major
difference between two locations is the number of amusement parks, pagodas, historical
monuments, stores, ... I really love living in Hanoi because Hanoi has many interesting
places to relax and libraries to study. In Thai Nguyen, I need to go to the city center
which is quite far from my town to have fun in such places. In conclusion, the living in
both areas is very different, but each has its own beauty.
