PART I. WEEKLY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT. Narration of all the activities conducted each
day in a week.

Day 01: February 27, 2023

On a cold and rainy Monday morning, the student intern felt warmth as she saw her students

again.

She is happy and excited to see SHS students who are fully prepared for their work immersion.

The cooperating teacher instructed the student intern in the morning to inspect the requirements of the

Grade 12 students that will be deployed to the partner agencies. The student intern checked the students'

requirements one by one.

The student intern was accompanied by his cooperating teacher and other grade 12 teachers in

the afternoon to assist and observe how the students are deployed.

It is a physically tiring day indeed but the student intern considered this to be a new experience

as a student intern and future teacher.

Day 02: March 1, 2023

1st day of March and It was a bright morning, as bright as the students' smiles carved on their lips

as an outcome of a very interesting and fun activity. Since the student intern's cooperating teacher is still

busy with the deployment for grade 12 students, she was instructed to take charge of the classes of her

cooperating teacher. The student intern did teach and gave some fun activities in all of their scheduled

classes, and the students enjoyed it. Because the student intern had vacant time in the afternoon, she

used it to socialize and help their advisory class in cleaning their classroom.

The student intern had a great day as she saw her students feel at ease.

Day 03: March 2, 2023

Thursday is a less hectic day for the cooperating teacher of the student interns.

The student interns were instructed to teach formally in their classes in the morning. Their

cooperating teacher was presenting them with their first topic in the reading and writing subject. And the

student interns put a lot of effort into discussing the lesson with the students. And they teach alternately

to each class because that was the instruction of their cooperating teacher.

In the afternoon, all of the student interns gathered for a meeting about their assigned assignment

and the future area of student interns, which was led by the SHS Coordinator. And the student interns

began cleaning their given space instantly.

The last day of the week is physically exhausting, but when the time comes, this is the true

beginning of a career as an effective and efficient teacher.

PART II. REFLECTION

Understanding My Learners, their Strengths, needs, interests and experiences

As an educator, it is crucial to understand your learners deeply, including their strengths, needs,

interests, and experiences. By doing so, you can create a personalized and effective learning

environment that caters to their unique needs.

Based on the realization of the student intern, understanding her learners' strengths is essential as

it helps her identify the areas in which they excel. This knowledge allows her to leverage their strengths

in her teaching strategies, making learning more engaging and enjoyable for them. She can also use their

strengths to help them develop skills in other areas and build their confidence.

Knowing the needs of your learners is equally important. Every student has different needs and

requirements, and it is your responsibility as an educator to identify and meet these needs. By doing so,

you can ensure that they have access to the appropriate resources and support, which can help them

overcome any challenges they may face.

Understanding your learners' interests is also vital as it allows teachers, to create learning

experiences that they will find engaging and relevant. When learners are interested in what they are

learning, they are more likely to be motivated, curious, and invested in their education. This can lead to

improved academic performance and greater overall satisfaction with the learning process.

Moreover, understanding students' experiences allow the student intern to develop a more

compassionate and empathetic approach to teaching. She can provide a safe and supportive learning

environment that acknowledges their unique experiences and fosters their growth if she understands the

challenges and circumstances that her learners face.

To contextualize, a deep understanding of her learners is important to creating a successful

learning environment. The student intern can tailor her teaching to meet their unique needs and help

them achieve their full potential by taking the time to identify their strengths, needs, interests, and

experiences.
