    I. Learning objectives
    At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
    a. Define action words/verb
    b. Determine the use of verb
    c. Identify the action words used in selection/sentences

    II. Subject Matter


    a. Topic: Recognizing words that tell actions
    b. Reference: English Expressways Reading and Language 1, page 192-197
    c. Materials: pictures, poem, cartolina, words

    III. Procedure

    1. Prayer
    Good morning class! Good morning Ma’am!
    Let us Pray. Pupils will stand and pray.
    Ok class, please sit down. Students will sit down.

    Okay very good. Today we will
    have another lesson to be

    review first the last lesson you

    3. Lisa’s father is a farmer.

    One student will pick a word from
    the box that the teacher has
    made. He/she will act the word, Verbs/Action words are words that
    then other students will guess the show actions.
