Learning Task 1
Learning Task 1
Learning Task 1
LEARNING TASK 1:
HONESTY. Gossiping means spreading not justifiable things about someone. You can’t be sure if
what you’re spreading contains factual information about that person.
INTEGRITY. This means that you are being honest with a strong moral principle and you are
showing good conduct by returning found items without any expectations expectation of
receiving reward.
RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. This means that you accept your mistake and that you
are being responsible and accountable for your actions. You are willing to face your mistakes
that causes problem with your co-workers.
4. Saying thank you to the janitor who clean your desk everyday
FAIR AND RESPECT. This means that you respect a person no even of you are in a high position.
You are also being fair because you are treating the janitor equally because being fair and
respecting others can’t be measured by any position in life.
DISCIPLINE. This means that you know how to manage your time and you are well disciplined.
You also know how to value others time.
LEARNING TASK 2:
SCENARIO 1: Like many others, you’ve taken some office supplies for personal use. The office manager is
now wondering where all the pens have gone, and asks you if you know the answer. It seems like a small
thing, so you answer that you don’t. However, your office is right next to the supply room, so you realize
you would have seen people coming and going. So to back up your claim, you add that you’ve been out
of the office more than usual. Now you’re feeling bad about the lying and can’t concentrate on your
project. What will you do?
If I’m already feeling bad about lying and can't concentrate on my project I'll do what should I've
done earlier and that's telling the office manager the truth. Being honest is not that hard so we
must avoid giving misleading information to others especially to our workmates because it may
cause misunderstanding. Being an honest employee is a must so that our workmates and
employer can rely on us.
SCENARIO 2: The company recently sent all staff an email about the importance of being at work on
time and not cutting out early. Yet, your boss often leaves early. Hes the boss, so no one is going to
question him. But, is he setting the right example of integrity? Does he have an obligation to keep to the
same rules as what he expects his staff to do?
He is not setting the right example of integrity because setting the right integrity is what you do
when no one is watching; it's doing the right thing all the time, even when it may work to your
disadvantage. Integrity is keeping your word. It's an internal compass, a rudder that directs you
where you know you should go when everything around you is pulling you in a different
direction. And yes he have an obligation to keep the same rules as what he expects his staff to
do because being a boss doesn't mean you can do whatever you want without considering what
may you are workers or stops may think or feel. It is unfair to often leave early while others still
doing their jobs or task and responsibilities.

LEARNING TASK 4:
1) PHYSICAL HAZARDS- Physical hazards are environmental factors that can harm an employee without
necessarily touching them, including heights, noise, radiation, stress, and pressure. And I'll deal with this
hazard by actively seeking information, guidance, or training on working safely. Use any equipment or
tools provided to reduce exposure to body stressing hazards. Take regular breaks like standing up,
sitting less, and moving more. And use the Body Stressing Sources of Risk checklist to address any risks.
2) CHEMICAL HAZARD- A chemical hazard is simply the risks involved with using a chemical. So in the
workplace chemical hazards can be; Health hazards - where workers and other personnel are exposed to
hazardous chemicals through inhalation, absorption through the skin, or ingestion and swallowing. And
I'll deal with this kind of hazard by storing all the materials properly, separating incompatibles, and store
in ventilated, dry, cool areas. Keep yourself and your work area clean. After handling any material, wash
thoroughly with soap and water. Clean work surfaces at least once a shift so that contamination risks are
minimized. Also, I will eliminate or discontinue the use of the hazardous chemical and substitute or
replace the hazardous chemical with a less hazardous substance.
3) ERGONOMIC HAZARDS- Any aspect in the workplace that may cause damage or health difficulties,
such as musculoskeletal injuries, the fastest-growing category of work-related disorders, is considered
an ergonomic hazard. The three main forms of ergonomic hazards that can lead to bad posture or
uncomfortable working circumstances are objects, surroundings, and systems. Any company would
benefit from preventing work-related injuries. And I'll deal with it by putting in place certain
preventative measures, such as raising work surfaces to eliminate long reaches and awkward postures,
putting work supplies and equipment in a convenient location, and providing the worker with the
appropriate tool handle. Short rest periods are encouraged.

1. Why do you think there is a need for the company to which you may work with in the future or
those business establishments and industries which you may have your work immersion to
protect the information related to their business and operations?
Protecting information related to the business and operations of a company is very crucial. This is to
prevent third parties from misusing the data for fraudulent purposes, such as phishing scams and
identity theft. This will also avoid breaching contract which may cause a big impact to employer and
employee of a company. For all medium and big businesses, information security awareness is a critical
practice. By preventing threats and weaknesses, it will safeguard firm data.
2. Why do you think it is important for Philippine laws to protect these information from being
breached? Why is there a big consequence for their breach?
It is important for Philippine laws to protect this information from being breached to prevent possible
bankruptcy of companies. It will also prevent employees from breaking the law which could result in
dismissal from the company. The punishment for this violation will be great. Much depends on it which
can have a huge impact. So it is only right that it be protected by the laws of the Philippines to avoid a
bigger problem, not only of businesses but of the country.

dignity and respect, there is no employee that will be exposed to harassment because of their religious
beliefs or political beliefs. I will also strive to improve my relationship with my co-workers. I believe that
this will be a great way to prevent disputes and misunderstandings between employees. For example if I
have a good relationship with my co-worker, it will be not hard for us to communicate and build a
