    AFFIDAVIT OF ARREST

    We, the UNDERSIGNED Police Officers, both members of the Philippine


    National Police, presently assigned at the Mati City Police Station No.4 do hereby
    depose and state THAT:

    01. We are among the members of the Mati City Police Station 4 who conducted
    a manhunt operations at Martinez Subdivision, Mati City located along Martinez
    Subdivision Green House, Phase 6 Block 3

    02. Said operation stemmed from the complaint of ENGR. JENNY PIORE
    for violation of RPC. Article 293 which was referred to our office by the Barangay
    Captain of Barangay Dahican against JOSE BATOBATO, 32 years old, Single, Filipino
    and residing at Martinez Subdivision, Barangay Dahican, Mati City Davao Oriental and
    Arnold Lim, 35 years old, Single, Filipino and residing at Martinez Subdivision,
    Barangay Dahican, Mati City Davao Oriental

    03. On the complaint dated March 02, 2021 RPC Article 293

    04. Upon receipt of their said complaint, our office planned out a man hunt
    operation against the suspect. At about 08:00 in the evening of 2nd of March 2021 the
    undersigned together with the complainant proceeded at the pre-arranged area of JOSE
    BATOBATO and Arnold Lim located along Martinez Subdivision Green House Phase 6
    Block 3;

    05. Upon arrival thereat, complainants waited for the suspect to arrive
    while we the undersigned seated near the complainants. At about 8:15 in the evening
    suspect spotted outside his Greenhouse talking to our informant to buy cements, our
    informant handed over the marked money to the suspects that minutes of prompted the
    undersigned to immediately effect arrest;

    06. Seized and recovered in the possession and control of the arrested
    person were the following, to wit:

    a.) Five Hundred (500) bags of cement

    b.) One Hundred Thousand pesos (P100, 000.00) of cash.


    c.) Twenty (20) wheel borrows.

    07. Suspects together with the seized and recovered evidence was
    brought to the PNP Police Station 4 for proper recording and booking for filing criminal
    case in court. Likewise, the arrested person was apprised of their rights as provided for
    under the Constitution of the Philippines.

    We executed this joint affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts
    and to support the filing of Criminal Cases against JOSE BATOBATO and ARNOLD
    LIM for violations of Article 293.
