MAJOR EQUIPMENTS’ HANDLING SUMMARY
Major equipment’s involve Storage Tanks (Fixed, Floating & Column Supported), Fired
Heaters i.e. complete furnaces along with installation of soot blowers, boilers with soot
blowers, Pressure Vessels, Pressure Vessel Design (Compress), Heat Exchangers, Air
Coolers, Misc. size Pipe Lines renewal & new installation (Plant piping, X-Country pipe
line, Intra-City Piping, Tank farm area piping, Rotating equipment’s piping & many others),
Hot Tapping, extensive Structural Work including equipment related, maintenance
activities on miscellaneous types of Valves & etc. with the corresponding knowledge of
API, ASME, ANSI, AWS Codes & Standards. Apart from this design review of Rotary
equipment’s (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors & Pumps), valves & etc.
along with thorough piping design knowledge & experience.
STORAGE TANKS
 Renewal & Revamping of Misc. Size & different types of Storage Tanks as per API
653. (EPCC) (More than 25 Nos.)
 Construction of Misc. Size & different types of Storage Tanks as per API 650.
(EPCC) (More than 20 Nos.)
 Conversion of Fixed Roof Self Supporting Tank to External Floating Roof Tank as
per API 650 & 653. (EPCC) (02 Nos.)
PIPE LINES
 Extensive & wide variety of piping works done from small scale to large scale basis
that included on site, off site, X-Country, Intra-city including underground piping
works in live product lines done as well. Only Few works are mentioned below:
 Fabrication, welding, laying & installation of 2km Pipeline 8” dia line. (EPCC)
 Renewal of In service Pipelines of Dia 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” & 16” in live product lines
trench. (As per site Basis)
 Fabrication, Welding, Erection & Installation of Misc. Dia Pipelines for Rotary
Equipment. (Procurement, Tendering, Planning, Execution, Hydro testing &
Commissioning) (Many Times)
 Fabrication, welding, laying & installation of GRE Pipeline 4” & 6” dia line. (EPCC)
 Fabrication, welding, laying & installation of 1km Pipeline 6” dia line PE coated
underground section towards Karachi Airport including hot tapping.
(Procurement, Tendering, Drawing Review, Planning, Execution &
Commissioning).
 Prepared Piping Layout and Isometrics along with BOQ for OMV Miano
Wellhead Compression Project, Qadirpur Permeate Compression Project & Dakhni
Expansion Project.
HEAT EXCHANGERS
 Procurement, Technical Evaluation, Mechanical Design review, drawings review
then erection & installation of Complete Heat Exchangers as per ASME SEC VIII
DIV I, TEMA Class “R” & API 660. (EPCC)
 Cutting of Heat Exchangers Tube Bundles & reclamation of useful parts after
required mandatory repair work. (Tendering, Planning & Execution) (Many
Exchangers)
 Re-Tubing of Heat Exchanger Tube Bundles. (Procurement, Tendering,

Planning & Execution) (Many Exchangers)
 Cleaning & Hydro jetting of exchangers. (Many Exchangers)
AIR COOLERS
 Removal of existing tubes & Re-Tubing of Air Cooler tubes for flanged type header
at site as per API 661. (Procurement, Tendering, Planning, Execution, Hydro
testing & Commissioning) (Many Air Coolers)
PRESSURE VESSELS
 Fabrication, Welding, Hydro testing, Erection & Installation of Pressure Vessels as
per ASME SEC VIII DIV I. (Procurement, Tendering, Drawing Review, Planning,
Execution, Hydro testing & Commissioning) (Misc. Size Vessels Many times)
 Procurement, Technical Evaluation, Mechanical Design review, drawings review

then erection & installation of Pressure Vessel as per ASME SEC VIII DIV I.
 Pressure Vessel Design Compress.
BOILER
 Fabrication, welding, erection, installation & hydro testing of Super Heater tubes of
Boilers as per ASME SEC VIII DIV I.
 Annual Boiler Shut Down as per Regulatory requirement needs to be attended for
each boiler (Total 03 Nos.). Procurement, Planning, Execution & Hydro Test jobs to
be done as per Work Scope Requirements.
FIRED HEATER TUBES

 Renewal of complete Fired Heater Tubes 03 Nos. (5” dia, 3.5” dia & 4” dia) tubes
and installation of New Soot Blowers in 02 Nos. Fired Heaters.
 New Soot Blowers were installed on 02 Nos. along with their Piping &
Platforms.
 Complete Skin Plates renewal on 02 Nos. Fired Heaters along with patch work on
02 other fired heaters.
 Complete Exhaust duct & Breeching renewed for 02 Nos. Fired Heaters.
 Removal of one tube section for metallographic evaluation of 05 Furnaces.
 Repair works on Stacks.
 Planning, Procurement & Tendering for TA-2014 other Major Equipments
Revamping that included Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Hot Jobs, Piping Jobs & Cold
Jobs.
OTHERS
 7 MW Compressors and Gas Turbines Review and approve documents &
drawings as per codes, standards, contract documents from manufacturer for
Qadirpur Compression Project.
 Misc. projects done along with these works.
 Planning, Procurement & Tendering for TA-2014 & 2019 other Major
Equipments Revamping that included Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Hot Jobs,
Piping Jobs & Cold Jobs.
 Pumps, Compressors, Engines & Steam Turbines selection, procurement, installation

& commissioning.
