5. FIREFIGHTING MEASURES
5.1 Fire & Explosion Hazards: If involved in a fire, this product may decompose at high temperatures to form toxic gases (e.g.,
CO, CO2, NOx).
5.2 Extinguishing Methods: Water, Foam, CO2, Dry Chemical
5.3 Firefighting Procedures: First responders should wear eye protection. Structural fire fighters must wear full protective
equipment and MSHA/NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus. If possible, prevent
runoff water from entering storm drains, bodies of water, or other environmentally sensitive areas.
If necessary, rinse contaminated equipment with soapy water before returning to service.
DEFINITION OF TERMS

LC50 Lethal concentration (gases) which kills 50% of the exposed animal
1 Slight Hazard FLAMMABILITY ppm Concentration expressed in parts of material per million parts
2 Moderate Hazard PHYSICAL HAZARDS TDlo Lowest dose to cause a symptom
TCLo Lowest concentration to cause a symptom
3 Severe Hazard PERSONAL PROTECTION
