1. What is the role of Mathematics in shaping the world that we have

today?
The body of knowledge and practice known as mathematics is derived from the
contributions of thinkers throughout the ages and across the globe. It gives us a way to
understand patterns, to quantify relationships, and to predict the future. Math helps us
understand the world — and we use the world to understand math. In order to live a social
life, mathematical knowledge is needed, Because of the give and take process, business
and industry depends upon the knowledge of mathematics. Only mathematics can be
credited with the change in social structure brought about by contemporary conveniences
like transportation, communication, and advances in science and technology.The
importance of numerical skills and mathematical thinking in everyday life is indisputable.
Mathematics is a powerful tool for global understanding and communication. It allows
students to make sense of the world and solve complex and real-world problems.
Rethinking math in a global context provides students with a new perspective on traditional
content, making math more relevant and meaningful to students.The ability to compute,
related to the power of technology and to the ability of social organization, and the
geometrical understanding of space time, that is the physical world and its natural patterns,
show the role of Mathematics in the development of a Society. Mathematics helps man in
giving precise interpretation to his ideas and conclusions. It is the numerical and calculating
factor for the advancement of our modern world.
2. What is the importance of Mathematics in your life that you are very
thankful that you practiced or continuously practicing it up to this day?
Give example/s and elaborate.
Math is essential in almost every aspect of life, including daily activities such as
cooking, driving, and time tracking, as well as jobs such as engineering, banking, finance,
software, and accounting.. Every function requires a strong mathematics foundation and
logical analysis based on scientific requirements and mathematical strategies. I'm grateful
that mathematics plays a significant role in my life and that it assists me in a variety of
ways.These are the examples of the importance of mathematics in our daily lives. It helps
me in making financial decisions. Math will assist you in making sound financial decisions.
Understanding how money works, how to manage your money, and calculating risk vs.
reward will all help you in the future. I knew how much money I had and what I could do with
it. Almost everyone on the planet uses mathematical concepts to manage their finances. It
also helps to strengthen my brain. It allows me to step outside of my comfort zone. It makes
me uncomfortable at first, but once I understand a concept, it boosts my self-confidence and
gives me the courage I need to accept my mistakes.. Mathematics also helps me with my
time management skills. Mathematics assists us in improving our time management skills. It
assists me in making wise decisions about how to spend my time effectively. For example, if
I need to get somewhere and only have a few minutes, I can calculate the minimum time
required to reach the destination by different modes of transportation. If I am studying, I can
also calculate how long it will take to complete the task. The importance of numerical skills
and mathematical thinking in everyday life cannot be overstated. Students gain critical
thinking skills, improve their analytical and problem-solving abilities, and acquire necessary
skills for their professional and personal development through mathematics education.
