Information Presentation Task Sheet

An Indigenous centre is being opened at the Railway Lands in the Old Station building. This will
be a place where people can come to learn about Bunganditj culture and history. You have
been asked to create an A4 or A3 information poster OR a PowerPoint presentation that will go
on display in the centre!
Your presentation will need to explain to the readers what life was like for Boandik peoples
before the Europeans arrived in Australia.
You will need to include the following in the presentation (Hint: tick off each one as you have
completed it)

Title
“Life for Boandik Peoples before the Europeans arrived in Australia”
Tools used
At least 3 (you may choose to do more) tools with a sentence or two explaining what the
tool was used for and a fun fact about the tool. Include a picture of each of the tools.
Story of Craitbul
What happened in the story and what was the meaning behind the story being told. You
may choose to include a map of Craitbul’s journey.
Bunganditj language
At least 4 Bunganditj words and their meanings. These should be in your HASS book.

If there is anything else you would like to add you may do so.
