The Activities/Assessments

Answer the following question as precisely yet as thoroughly as possible.

1. If you were an artist, what kind of artist would you be?

If I were an artist, I would be a painter. Ever since I was younger, I've been so in love
with colors that's why I love Arts. I discovered arts with so much appreciation, and through this I
came to know myself more. I found art as one of my comfort zone in my trying times, I realized
how Arts affects my well being in a good way. With the art that I nurture within myself, I was
able to express my thoughts, perception and creativity. It inspires me whenever I make
something productive that enables me to do well in that field. The impact of Arts brought me
where colors speak louder than words. It taught me that even when you are not a vocal person,
you can still share knowledge and thoughts through the masterpiece you've made. I would love
to be a painter not just to create something satisfying in the eyes of people, instead a piece that
will bring different knowledge that may help others in their life as well. I would be very happy to
share my knowledge and experiences through paintings. And I hope I could also inspire people
to appreciate Arts and to make something that would be beneficial in everyone's life.

2. Why art is not nature?

Art is not a nature because first foremost, art is made by the perception of humans towards
the surroundings, in which artists are not meant to duplicate the God Almighty's creation for the
God himself is the highest. Nature is something interpreted by man that results from art. It means
that nature itself is natural and not man-made construct. Art is the appreciation of man in nature.
People are the ones who make art from the existence of nature. I believe that if there's no nature
surrounding us, there is no art, I guess. In my perspective, art and nature is connected to one
another, this is why they can't be similar. There is a big difference between the two creations, the
other one is made by thoughts while the other is by power. Nature is the one that processes art in
the minds of humans. As human beings, we used to rely on our nature. This is why obviously, art
is so close to nature but different in the way it existed. We should appreciate our nature, that's
why it needs art. I also believe that nature and art existed because they are meant to benefit each
other to make our world balanced. God created nature in order for us to survive, and one of the
ways in which we can be responsible for consuming nature is to take care of it through art.

3. Why is art ageless and timeless?

Art is ageless and timeless because as generation passes, humans' creativity is also spanning.
Every new art comes from a new generation, as our planet is revolving, the art will continue in
its existence and can still be even more beautiful as time passes by. Humans' intelligence brought
a lot of innovation in our world. Art is timeless because it originates from human beings, as we
continue to occupy our world, art would always be there. Every one of us is capable of creating
art because we are relying on the environment which gives us the idea to make art. The styles
and patterns in nature come and go, just like people. As we search for new discoveries like
artifacts, there will always be the idea to make another for the coming generations. People are
capable of reinventing a masterpiece just to follow the style of every generation, this is why art is
timeless. Art varies as time passes in order to make it more advanced and connected to the new
lifestyle of human beings. Art is being updated by humans for its beneficial uses. Art will never
fade in its emergence as long as we continue to live creatively. For art to make sense to the worth
of living, it is an essential thing in order to live in a productive way. As we live in a changing
world, the fact that people come and go, each of us could still contribute art before we leave this
world that might be used by the next generation in their time.

4. Why does art involve experience?

Art involves experience first because it takes effort in order to create a masterpiece. Art not
just gives us information but also by having done any of it will improve our knowledge that we
can relate to others' experiences in life. Our experience contributes different kinds of learnings
which we can share to others. People make art through their experiences, those instances reflect
on the art of that person. Art is not just about creativity, it is also a way of expressing feelings,
imagination or events. One must know that art is not just about information but it is also based
on personal experiences. There are different kinds of experiences which are expressed in
different genres of art. I believe that our experiences are our ultimate teacher because it taught us
the purpose of our living. Just like in an art, we might be asking where the creator of this
masterpiece got this idea? Of course it's the experiences of the person. We can't create something
we never experienced. I believe that the value of art comes from how the person values that once
experience that happened to his life that would be beneficial if he shared it with others through
the field of art.

It is about a young boy who struggles to go to school and where he lives. The boy was
criticized by his poor academic performance. Everything doesn't go fine not until his art teacher
knew he has dyslexia. In the movie, the child was not able to cope with the environment he has.
He faced a lot of difficulties in his study because he is not able to read and write well, like his
classmates. But there's one thing that made the boy special than his condition. The boy has
excellent skills in art, and through that art he was able to surpass those challenges that were

his comfort zone and shares his amazing talent in doing different artworks. He proved that he can
