Course Description : This course is an introduction to field of language acquisition. It aims at introduction the
students to the major concepts in fields of child language acquisition, and bi/multilingual
acquisition. It discusses the different factors that influence the acquisition process as
age, the linguistic environment, cognition, the social context, motivation, and aptitude.
Pre-requisites/Co-requisites :
Contact Hours : 54 hrs.

Classroom Policies
1. Attendance in class signifies readiness to participate in class discussions and activities, Students are encouraged to observe
punctuality in joining Face to Face Classes, online classes, and submission of requirements.
2. Students are required to log in and answers activities in LMS
3. A student is responsible for his/her absence; no make-up projects will be given.
4. A student will be automatically marked dropped after seven (7) consecutive absences.
5. Requirements must be submitted within the designated date of submission. Plagiarism is considered a serious offense and one
may fail the course.

6. Students who are pregnant should inform the instructors for case-to-case bases considerations.
