III. PROCEDURES:
Teacher’s Activities Student’s Activities

Good morning Class Good morning sir!

Before we start our class lets have first our

payer.
Who wants to lead our prayer?
Me Sir

Almighty God. I believe that you created us

for a special purpose. And that you have a
prefect plan for us. I ask that and fulfill your
purpose for us. And help me to do our part
by earnestly seeking you daily through
prayer and your word. Thank you that as I
seek you each day that you will guide me
along the best pathway for my life. In
Jesus’ name. AMEN.

(Student pick up the pieces of paper and

they arrange their chairs.)

Before you take your set, kindly pick up the

pieces of paper under your chairs. And
arrange your properly.

Darna
Now, Let us check the attendance. Say
darna if your name is called.
Darna

Ian Kenneth.

Yes sir
Maria Nicole.

Last meeting, we discussed about the

planets of solar system, right? (Vincent raise his hand)

Who can give me the name of planets. Venus teacher.

Yes,vincent. (All student claps in five times)

Very good, can you give five claps for

vincent class?
(All students saying their 8 planets)

How many planets in our solar system?

Very good class.

I hope everyone learned something

yesterday discussion.

A. Engage

I’m going show a short video class and Yes teacher.

identify what’s the video all about, Okay?

So what is the video all about class?

(Mary raise her hand)
Very good mary. It’s all about energy teacher.

A. B. Explore

I will group you into 6 groups. Every group

will identify heat, light, motion, electrical,
chemical, and gravitational that I show in
front of you.

The groups that have a highest score are

the winner of the game. Are you ready
class? Yes teacher.

(The teacher will present a pictures in front

of the class)

What a nice performance class.

I will announce the group winner. (All student say Thank you teacher)
The winner is the group number 3

Please give a 10 claps for the group 3.

(All students give a 10 claps)

B. C. Explain

Our topic today is all about energy.

What is energy?
Energy as the ability to do work.
Modern civilization is possible because
people have learned how to change energy
from one form to another and then use it to
do work.

This are the example of energy.

Did understand what is energy?

Very good class.

There are 2 types of energy, which is the

Potential and Kinetic energy.

(Yes teacher.)
What is Potential Energy?

Potential energy, stored energy that

depends upon the relative position of
various parts of a system. Potential energy
is the stored energy in any object or system
by virtue of its position or arrangement of
parts.
Do you have any idea of Potential energy?

Don’t worry we will tackle that right now.

This the example of potential energy.

In
the

(No teacher)

picture show, the person stretching the bow

to reserve his energy focus and
preparing to shoot the target. That’s we
called potential energy.

Do you understand what is Potential

energy?

The other one is Kinetic energy.

Kinetic energy, form of energy that an

object or a particle has by reason of
its motion. If work, which transfers energy,
is done on an object by applying a net force,
the object speeds up and thereby gains
kinetic energy.

This are the example of kinetic energy.

Yes teacher.

Have you observe the picture, their having a

motion or moving object.

Do you understand class?

Very good.

So let us move to different forms of energy.

There are 6 different forms of energy which
is:

 Heat
 Light
 Motion
 Electrical
 Chemical
 Gravitational

Heat energy is the result of the movement

of tiny particles called atoms, molecules or
ions in solids, liquids and gases. Heat
energy can be transferred from one object
to another.
Yes teacher.

Light energy is a form of electromagnetic

Motion energy is energy stored in the

movement of objects. The faster they move,
the more energy is stored.

Electrical energy is the power an atom's

charged particles have to cause an action
or move an object.
Chemical energy is energy stored in the
bonds of atoms and molecules. Batteries,
biomass, petroleum, natural gas, and coal
are examples of chemical energy.

Gravitational energy is the energy stored

in an object due to its height above the
Earth
D. Elaborate
For your activity today, I will group you into
3 groups. I want you to perform the different
form of energy and present in front.

I will give you 10 minutes to discuss to your

group.

Are we clear class?

The timer starts now.

(After 10 minutes)

May I call group number 1? Please go to

the front and perform.
(The group number 1 will go to the front
and perform their performance)

Thank you group number 1.

(Group number 1 saying thank you sir)

Next group number 2? Please perform

(The group number 2 will go to the front

and perform their performance)

Thank you group number 2.

(Group number 2 saying thank you sir)

And lastly group number 3? Please perform

in front.

Thank you group 3.

(Group number 3 saying thank you)

Your performance was nice. Please give 5 (Everyone should give a five claps)
claps to yourself.

E. Evaluate
Since we’re done with your lesson about the
two types energy and their different form
energy. In the same group, you will give an
example of Potential and Kinetic energy.
Listen carefully here the instruction:

1. You can research in the internet some

example of Potential and Kinetic energy.
2. You will be given 10 minutes to your (Every group searching some example and
preparation. collaboration on their members)

3. Each group will give an example of

minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 to
perform.
4. Will be graded by group, you must
cooperate to your group.
5. If one of the member not cooperating
he/she not be graded.

(Everyone was perform)

Thank you everyone to your wonderful

(After 20 minutes all groups are done to
performance.
their performance)

Have you enjoyed the presentation today

class?

So I hope you learned for today and have a

restful day class.
(Everyone say, Yes teacher)
Goodbye class.

Goodbye and Thank you teacher Arnel.

IV. Reflection
- I improve my teaching skills and happy for my student because I giving another
knowledge and content to my learners. Being a teacher it is happy to students to
those students participating to the activity. Enjoying their activity while learning,
student must active if the teacher is also active too. You must be attractive
teacher for you student.
