INTRODUCTION

With our partnership with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), a US certifying body, using their
curriculum and materials will help our students to pass the exam successfully. MedStar garnered a passing rate of 90%
and 94%, the highest score.
Our instructor has been an industry expert for decades. He passed the AAPC exam to become a US-certified
coding instructor. To pass the exam means he has mastered the US medical coding guidelines. He is the first
CPC- Instructor in Region 6, Philippines.

CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CODER AT A GLANCE
This 200-hour synchronous Online Certified Professional Coder course is being formed to roll out a
quality training program to prepare students to pass the Certified Professional Coder examination of the
American Academy of Professional Coder based in the United States of America. This aims to increase
efficiency of knowledge on the principles of medical coding to prescribe diagnostic and procedural
codes associated to the three main code books: Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), International
Classification of Diseases-10–Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) and Healthcare Common Procedure
Coding System (HCPCS Level II).

2. Steps to Enroll and Pay:

2. Coding books should be paid 2-3 weeks before the class starts, ($230.00+ $35.00 shipping cost= $265.00
including the Php 2,500 as initial tuition down payment. Please call the office to make any financial
arrangements. Note: Books are ordered in India. Shipment takes 2-3 weeks to receive the books
depending on the location you live.

2. CPC Exam $ 349.00 - (Online Exam, one attempt)
