 STEP 1: ORIENTATION
1. PREPARE THE ASSESSMENT DOCUMENTS, MATERIALS, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

(Get the envelope from the Assessment Center Manager and ilatag sa table ang mga props/papeles
accdg to the order of demonstration

Check the Materials, tools and Equipment sa area (kunyari ay nagche-check sa checklist)

(Ipaalam sa assessment center manager na tapos na kayo mag check at magsisimula na kayo sa
Assessment)

2. GREET THE CANDIDATES AND PROCEED WITH THE INTRODUCTION

'Good Morning Everyone... Welcome to your national assessment in SHIELDED METAL ARC
WELDING NCII,,here in tesda training center paliparan, My name is NICANOR PILLAS...and I will be
your Assessor,in SMAW NCII
3. MENTION THE KEY PERSONS ON THE ASSESSMENT

'Before we start let me introduce to you our CAC Manager MS.LORENA P. LIM and Our TESDA
Representative MR.DANILO R.BANTIGUE.

DON’T WORRY about their presence, because they will just observe the assessment process and I
will be the one who will assess you...
My role as your assessor,is to collect evidences,,and make assessment decision ,based on your
performance.

I would also like to introduce our Processing Officer MR.ARNALDO ... Si kuya pastor ,ang ating
support person Tawagin nyo lang po ang pansin ko or ni kuya pastor if ever na may kailangan

7.TASK TO BE PERFORMED
So ang mga task to be performed,,,,una,,
Root pass,,then clean root pass,subsequent/filling pass and capping pass.
8.ASSESSMENT METHOD
So ito na ang mga pagdadaanan ninyo na mga assessment method,we have written exams,1
hr,,demonstration 3 hrs,oral questioning 15 minutes.

 STEP 2: ADMINISTER THE WRITTEN EXAM
GIVE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE THE WRITTEN EXAM (IF APPLICABE)

'One seat apart... No Cheating... 'SO I GIVE You 1 hr.,magsulat lang sa answer sheet,that is 60
items multiple choice,please read the instruction,,,and you may now begin,,ok time is up.

(Explain the Examination... Huwag muna kukunin ang papers... Ikutan ang mga nagwri Written
Exam... After that collect the papers...)

Ok proceed na tayo sa ating demonstration,,please proceed to our practical area…

STEP 3: ADMINISTER THE PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

ASSIGN THE WORKSTATION

'Candidate number 1... booth number 1... and candidate number10... booth number 10...'

So you have 4 hours to finished your output to weld carbon steel pipes,,you need to start the root
pass and then clean root pass,followed by the subsequent filling pass and the capping pass...

work area ninyo after ninyo magwelding maliwanag ba,,ok.'

BEGIN THE PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

(Umikot sa mga Candidates and while observing their performance at kunwari nag checheck sa
rating sheet folders)

STEP 4: ADMINISTER THE ORAL QUESTIONING

(Makipag interact ang dummy... Sulatan nyo na ang CARS kunwari habang nagtatanong...)
(Ask few questions from the Rating Sheet na hawak ninyo)

STEP 5: PROCEED WITH THE FEEDBACKING AND DELIBERATION

You got 55/60 kaya 90% ka on your written Exam and you got 100% sa the oral questioning... On
your Performance... All the evidence that was on the criteria ay nakita ko sa yong output at
performance and natutuwa naman ako sa performance mo... you are Satisfactory sa
demonstration mo'

'Congratulations candidate number 1... you're Competent and passed the NCII Assessment...
Please sign on your CARS...'

(Kailangang makitang pumirma si Candidate number 1)

'Congratulations again and wait at the waiting area for the releasing of your CARS... Papipirmahan
ko pa ito sa CAC Manager...'

You got 2/60 kaya 10% ka lang sa written and got 0 out of 10 correct answers on the oral
questioning... And about your performance you forgot (sabihin ang nakalimutan ng Candidate)...
That's why your output was (Advise kung ano ang mali sa output niya)

'Ang technique dyan ay dapat (Give advice on how to overcome the gap)
