INTRODUCTION

Context of the Study

The impact of technology on human life is undeniably

overwhelming, particularly when computers and the internet are

mentioned. Today, the internet has evolved into a one-stop shop where

nearly everything a person requires in a day to make his life complete

can be found (Winner, 2008). However, as the internet's popularity and

utility grow, businesses and business operators in a variety of industry

sectors have taken advantage of the situation to advance their trade and

increase their revenues.

Today is the age of digital technology and technological

advancement. The rise of the INTERNET has given a boost to the digital

field, and India has accepted it and is running many movements such as

digital India, UPI money transfer, and many more. The number of

internet users is growing by the day, and we are all aware of the benefits

of the internet. Many people now run their businesses without a physical

location, such as digital marketing agencies, digital marketing, and many

others.
The grooming and beauty industry, on the other hand, is expected

to grow in the coming year. A beauty salon is a business that provides

cosmetic treatments to both men and women. Hair salons and spas are

two examples of this type of business (Gulshan and Khan 2021).

Introduction |
16

Electronic commerce, also known as e-commerce, is one of the

most critical and important ways in which businesses use the internet.

Many activities take place on the internet through e-commerce,

including product and service advertisement, window shopping, product

and service search, product and service sale and purchase,

appointment service booking, and product and service payment. It

should be noted, however, that the majority of e-commerce that occurs

between various companies and business ventures, no matter how large

or small, occurs through the use of specific websites (Hyatt, n.d)

This research entails the creation of a reservation and

management system for the Pretty Tipsy Salon Urdaneta City Branch,

which be used by the salon manager. The system be used for the salon's

daily transactions. It also be used for sales reports, client records,

service and product information, and employee payroll. This allows the

system to have an organized management system. Their records be easy

to retrieve, avoiding the possibility of record loss. Their client transaction

be correct. It also aid in the daily monitoring of their services.

This study also determine how effective online booking is for their

clients. They can easily book an appointment at the salon using their

mobile phone and the researcher's application, making their lives more

comfortable and less stressful.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND SYSTEMS

This chapter reviews previous research articles, studies, and

literature regarding Salon Reservation and Management System that

the researchers used to reference and scope out essential data

collection.

Foreign Literature

Hair Technique Salon Management System, according to Ibrahim

(2021), is a mobile application that provides a mobile platform that

allows customers to make appointments for hair care services and

employers and employees to manage the salon's and customers'

information. Customers can view salon information, make

appointments, and receive notifications using this Hair Technique

Salon Management System. At the same time, the employer and

employees can easily manage the appointment, salon information, and

notification.

As stated by Al-Mamun et al. et al. (2019) created a web-based Gents

Parlour Management System that is fully responsive and includes

appointment scheduling functionality. This system allows users to

schedule appointments online. Because of the responsive design, this

application work properly on any device, including desktop, laptop, and

mobile. Customers can view all of Gent's Parlor Shop's services using
this application. Then they can select the service that they want. They

book an online appointment as their free time slot to receive services.

The beauty-care service industry is one of the most thriving in

Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital and largest city in terms of population

density. The growing number of beauty-conscious women and their

demand for a wide range of services contribute to the industry's growth

and importance. The purpose of this research is to assess the service

quality and customer satisfaction levels of high-end women's parlors in

Dhaka. Other goals of this study include determining the significance of

various customer preference attributes, assessing service quality and the

extent of customer satisfaction, and revealing the final factors that

contribute to customer satisfaction. This research includes in-depth

interviews with beauticians and executives, as well as a questionnaire

survey of 260 customers of Dhaka's high-end beauty parlors. Customers

prioritize issues such as the service provider's behavior, knowledge,

environment, counseling system, and affordability of the parlors,

according to the findings. Customers of high-end parlors are extremely

pleased with the atmosphere, executive politeness, complaint handling

system, trustworthiness, and materials. The service providers'

politeness, executive knowledge level, and safety and hygiene issues are

also satisfactory. Factor analysis (Principal Component Analysis) was

performed on sixteen variables, and the results show that four service

quality factors contribute to customer satisfaction. These are the

Support and Facility Factor, Employee, and Zahid (2007).

Local Literature

Most people have different morning rituals for personal beauty. It

consists of a daily shower and shave, a weekly nail trim, and a monthly

hair care. A beauty salon is a business that can provide and offer

services to both men and women who want to improve their physical

appearance. It provides a variety of services such as hair care, foot care

and spa, manicures, pedicures, and so on. However, not every beauty

salon can easily gain customers and increase profits due to a lack of

information from their target audience (Sena, 2014).

In the last decade, thousands of beauty care service providers have

arrived across the country. Because the beauty salon industry has

begun to enter the business world, customer satisfaction has suffered.

Understanding consumer perceptions is critical to understanding the

booming industry and maintaining its service quality (Akter, 2008).

Foreign Studies

According to Silva (2021), Salon Chami is a growing and well-

known salon in the Panadura area where customers can fulfill their

beauty and other needs. With the industry's sudden growth, it was a

huge task for this salon to maintain efficiency with the existing manual

documenting operations. As a result, they were frequently unable to

develop long-term customer relationships. Managing appointment

details, managing details of transactions and reminding the details of

received appointments, lack of decision-making support and resource

wastage were the main problems faced by the staff who work for the

salon when dealing with the daily activities of customers. The intention

of this project was to overcome those problems by providing a

computerized web-based system that handle most of the related tasks

efficiently and automatically with the capability of online management of

appointments. The system designed based on Object Oriented Analysis

and developed based on the iterative waterfall model. Hypertext

Preprocessor is chosen as the main programming language with other

supportive languages and technologies. Apache has been used as the

web server and MySQL was used to handle database. Model-View-

Controller used to build the system architecture. Overall system

functionalities mainly focused on the requirements of the client. The site

is focus to convince visitors to value proportion of the business,

background, offering promotions and direct communication. Apart from

the site, the system mainly facilitates the appointment management,

transaction management, promotion management, customer

management and user management etc. This software solution mainly

handle the problems of their day today routine and focus to capture the

different audiences.

Today is the era of digital technology and the development of

technology. The rise of the INTERNET gives a boost in the digital field

and India is also accepting it and runs many movements like digital

India, UPI money transfer, and many more. The growth of internet users

is increasing day by day and we are well aware of the advantage of the

internet. At present, many people run their businesses without any

physical setup of their business liked digital marketing agency, digital

marketing, and many more. There are various types of online websites

available, ranging from online E-commerce websites (AMAZON), online

trip booking websites (MAKE MY TRIP (ZOMATO). On the other hand,

the grooming and beauty business are experiencing growth in the

coming year. A beauty salon is an establishment dealing with cosmetic

treatments for men and women. Other variations of this type of business

include nail salons and spas(Gulshan and Khan 2021).

The traditional system of salon was manual and insecure because

there was no any counting system of customers coming in the salon

which creates sometimes major issues. The customer as well as the

owner faces the problems. These early systems are dependent on paper-

pencil systems for billing purpose that means the records of bills of

customer and the workers working in their salon are in written form. The

records may get wrong due to anyone’s mistake. There is difficulty in

maintaining records of all these tasks manually. Hence, develop system

is the best solution of avoiding all these problems. Salon manager are

often responsible scheduling staff members, training new front desk

31

workers. Since salon is a service sector, so the success of salon depends

on the satisfaction of customer. The business of salon is totally

dependent on customer satisfaction (Naismith et. al 2007).

Local Studies

According to Mendoza et. al(2016), The researchers went to the

main office of a salon chain with 16 locations to see how the network,

recording system, hardware, and software were set up. Administrators

and employees were polled about the salon's current business processes,

policies, protocols, rules, and regulations. The expansion of 16 branches

with 80 employees made it difficult for the company to manage large

amounts of data and information. As a result, a service and product

management information system would be developed for the salon

business.

According to Galaso .et al (2020) a reservation system is an

application for assistance. Given that the parlor is following a manual

process, we offer them our help. A computerized manage reservation

system can replace a “paperless” transaction. This system can be used

for the customers to reserve, thereby making the employee’s work easier.

The first subsystem of our system is the login form, which is for

employees only. The second subsystem information form, which is for

the customer before they reserve this form gathers information from the

customer. The third subsystem is the mainframe. After gathering

32

information, the customer chooses what schedule they want and service

to do to them. The fourth is to manage the reservation form in this form.

The researcher manages all customer reserves on that day. The

proponents used the systems development life cycle. The first stage was

planning; the researcher finds a client to propose a system. The second

stage is analysis; the developer analyzes information and converts

information into a program. The third stage was designing a flow chart,

creating a database schema, and creating a GUI. The fourth stage was

development; the programmer created the functionality of every object in

the system by using the given process of the client. The fifth stage was

testing; the programmer tests the program and finds errors inside the

program in the way of debugging and fixing the error in the system. The

sixth stage is implementation; the researcher gives the system to the

client and the system manual and orients them on how to use the

system. The last stage was maintenance, that is, maintaining the system

by gathering the feedback of the client. What must change inside the

program made the system useful. The researchers developed the

following deliverables: (1) Login form, which is for the administrators of

the salon to protect confidential information; (2) client information form,

which gathers the information that should be reserved; (3) reservation

form, which in this part the booked customer the gather time and day

where the client to go in the salon; and (4) management reservation

33

form, the place can you see all records of the customer reservation. The

computerized management reservation system can reserve a customer in

the daisy salon easier than through a manual process. This system

gathers the information of the customer and the schedule in the salon

and lessens hassle for a returning customer in the salon. This system

lessens the work of employees and prevents consuming a long time.

According to Abella et al, (2009) Hair Pro Salon is a service-

oriented business that focuses on hair, nail, make-up beauty and

customer’s well being. It was established in February 2009 and work on

manual operations, which is managed by Mrs. Perla Deocampo. Manual

operations are practical solutions to any business, likewise to salon

business. These manual operations cover inventory, monitoring of

services or journalizing, commission disbursement and basic

accounting. Although these manual operations are stable procedures,

yet this still lacks integrity and independency. This may result to

misleading of reports and redundant records. As basis for the design and

concept of the system, we reviewed existing software to guide us in terms

of formulating solutions for the identified problems. Two of the related

software are: the Iris Salon Management Software, Salon 11 -

Management and Inventory Software for Hair and Nail Salons. In

developing the system for Hair Pro Salon, Iterative and Incremental

Development Life Cycle model was used. This model was chosen for it

allowed us to perform phases repeatedly specifically in the analysis,

design and implementation phase. It allowed us to constantly interact

with users to acquire feedback regarding the design of the system. In

implementing the design of the system, the group made use of the

following software: Microsoft SQL server 2003 as the database back-end

and Microsoft Visual Basic Version 6 for the front end. The overall

system objective is to develop a Management Information System for

Hair Pro Salon to replace the manual operations in order to provide a

tool for the client in managing the business. The group concludes that

the system has effectively solved the problems on the manual operations.

One of the features of the system was to efficiently monitor inventory of

products and services, effective storage of data, automation on

commission and report generation. The group also recommends

expanding the software to a web application and incorporates the

complete accounting module.

According to Selda et al, (2016) This study developed web-based

services and product information management application system for

salon business in Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon province (Philippines)

in managing inventory, sales, services, commission, employee and

customer records. To see the actual setup of the network, recording

system, hardware, and software, the researchers visited the main office

of a salon business operating 16 branches. Administrators and staff

35

were interviewed about the existing salon business processes, policies,

protocols, rules and regulations. The expansion of 16 branches with 80

employees became a challenge for the business to manage volumes of

data and information. Hence, services and product management

information system was developed for salon business.

According to Tunac (2022) Beauty Buddy is a digital management

and marketing platform for salons. With the help of this new start-up

business, customers can now schedule self-care appointments from a

variety of brands with just a few taps on your smartphone. Customers

can choose from more than 20 partner brands on this platform, offering

services including massages, haircuts, manicures, and pedicures. The

idea is simple: Using the website, customers may choose the date, time,

and chosen stylist after selecting your preferred salon. If these simple

procedures aren't convincing enough, BeautyBuddy charges nothing

when a booking is made on their site. Additionally, the platform utilizes

SMS to provide a timely reminder. If a consumer made an appointment

more than a week or a month in advance, BeautyBuddy send them a

message.

METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the methodology of this study. It describes

research approaches, data gathering tools and techniques, distribution

of the respondents or the total population, and the software development

life cycle used.

Research Approach

The research approach is a concept plan and research strategy

that covers everything from broad assumptions to specific data

collection, analysis, and interpretation techniques. The main decision is

which method to use when studying a subject. The researcher's

philosophical assumptions, research designs, and specific data

collection, analysis, and interpretation techniques should all have an

impact on this decision.

Descriptive research, according to Shona McCombes (2019), is

typically defined as a type of quantitative research, though qualitative

research can also be used for descriptive purposes. To ensure that the

results are valid and reliable, the research design should be carefully

developed.

Descriptive research is quantitative in nature because it attempts

to collect and statistically analyze information. Descriptive research is a

powerful research tool that allows a researcher to collect data and

describe its demographics using statistical analysis. As a result, it is a

quantitative research technique. 2020 ("Voxco Blog").

Methodology |
38

Descriptive research is primarily a fact-finding procedure with an

understanding of how the facts apply to the issue under consideration.

Descriptive research is a type of research that is used to outline the

characteristics of a population. It collects data that is used to answer a

variety of what, when, and how questions about a specific population or

group.

Software Development Methodology

This part of the study presents the software development process

and each development step (SDLC) to identify critical security measures

included at each stage to assure highly safe products.

According to Anchit Shrivastava et al (2021), Extreme

Programming (XP) is an agile software development framework that

helps us produce high-quality software and also makes lives easy for the

development team. It is usually practiced in small teams with up to 20

members and is really team oriented i.e. the product delivery is the joint

responsibility of all the developers in the team rather than the owner or

the boss of the company. This methodology takes this name as the

traditional programming practices are taken to extreme levels.

The basic purpose of developing this model was to create a

lightweight process model. When it comes to appropriate engineering

practices in software engineering, XP is the most specific in the agile

frameworks. It helps in creating the software according to the

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
39

customer’s requirements. As it is an Agile softwaredevelopment it

consists of many releases in a short duration of time. It helps in

improving the quality of software one step at a time. It promotes group

development of a project in which programmers and customers are

extensively involved. As they are developing the software customer can

suggest changes and updates as per the need, as the problem is better

understood with time.

Figure 3. Extreme Programming Framework

User Stories. User stories are one of the core components of an

agile program. They help provide a user-focused framework for daily

work which drives collaboration, creativity, and a better product overall.

The first phase of the Extreme Programming life cycle is user stories,

where client or users meet with the development team to create user

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
40

stories or requirements. Finally, the development team converts user

stories into iterations that cover a small part of the functionality or

features required.

The researchers conducted a interview to Pretty Tipsy Salon

Urdaneta City to obtain data and to know the process of their services

and product, appointment for the client, payroll for employees their

employee management, and how they calculate their sales and

inventory. The researchers also conducted a survey for developing an

effective and accurate system that helps the salon in their daily

transactions. (See Appendix B)

The researchers took a picture of their menu board services offered

and their selling products. (See Appendix D)

Architectural Spike. Spike is a technique that can reduce the

technical risk factor from the product and it comes from Extreme

Programming (XP). The main purpose of this technique is to reduce the

risk of a technical problem. The spike is between the product owner and

the development team.

After hearing the clients' "user stories," the researchers started

planning and developing the requirements. This was the most critical

phase in which the client received something of value on the said week

for insurance. XP programming prioritized real coding over all other

activities such as documentation. The process was simple; the developer

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
41

tried to accomplish a specific requirement and tried to integrate it into

the system as fast as possible.

The second phase of the Extreme Programming life cycle is

architectural spikes; the programmer use Data Flow Diagram

representing a flow of information of the system process. (See Appendix

F). In addition, a Database Instance is a collection of data and

information that the database stores at any particular moment. Instance

describes the entire database environment, including all of its elements.

(See Appendix J). A Database Schema, which is a component of a data

dictionary, describes the relationships between the many elements that

make up a database, such as tables, views, stored procedures, and

more. (See Appendix I).

Iteration. Make sure your iterations have no more than a 2-week

time span between them. For your releases to be successful, you need to

make sure you have the versions of your product released in short

intervals like a couple of days and almost two weeks. Also, in spite of the

small times interval between iterations, they still should be of excellent

quality to the user. They ought to offer business value to their client.

After the plan had been successfully implemented, the project

programmer released an iteration release for the testing of bugs and

errors. To do the coding, the researchers worked on the programming. To

ensure more efficiency and facilitate the identification of further

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
42

possibilities, the developer planned to fix the reported bugs and errors by

the tester until the system's code was continuously developed and

integrated for another testing.

Acceptance Testing. User acceptance testing is used to determine

whether the product is working for the user correctly. Specific

requirements which are quite often used by the client are primarily

picked for the testing purpose. This is also termed as End-User Testing.

Unit tests are used to eliminate defects in all codes, and the code

must pass all unit tests before being released. The researchers tested out

the application and tried the application's efficiency and functionality. If

the authentication is working correctly, look for bugs, potential exploits,

and errors. Errors are reported to the developer to update the code and

release a new version. Clients would also try out the application to see if

the researchers have fulfilled the requirements they need. They can also

add more additions to the said system for future version releases. Bugs

and Errors are reported to the research team in order to address them

on the next release for a more improved and cleaner version. All the

encountered bugs and errors are immediately reported to the developer,

and the developer asked for further information about the encountered

bugs and errors to fully understand the problem. (See Appendix C ).

Small Release. The small releases give you essential, timely

feedback from customers also. This feedback helps you know which

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
43

areas your software needs to change before its main release. Your

publications have to be iterative meaning for each problem the

customers received in one version should be fixed in the next small

release. Every version is released by the researchers, even if the

application has some known bugs and errors. This is in order to keep

track of the progress of the application. This also serves as

documentation of the improvement and changes the application has

undergone. This also show a clear sign of progress on the application in

the long run with the help of the client's suggestions and ideas combined

with the researchers. After the developer has implemented the changes

to fix the bugs and errors encountered during the acceptance testing, the

developer now release a minor version, and the researchers now proceed

to test the new release once again.

Requirement Analysis

Requirement analysis, also known as requirements engineering, is

a method for determining a new product's needs and expectations. It

entails frequent communication with the product's stakeholders and

endusers to define expectations, resolve conflicts, and document all

essential requirements.

Sharing the final product vision with customers is one of the most

challenging tasks any company faces. As a result, a business

requirements analysis necessitates collaboration among all key

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
44

stakeholders, software researchers, end-users, and customer managers

to arrive at a shared understanding of what the product should

accomplish. Of course, this is always done at the start of any project to

ensure that everything runs smoothly.

A review of related literature (RRL). A detailed review of existing

literature related to the topic of a thesis or dissertation. In an RRL, you

talk about knowledge and findings from existing literature relevant to

your topic. If you find gaps or conflicts in existing literature, you can

also discuss these in your review and, if applicable, how you plan to

address these gaps or resolve these conflicts through your study, Editage

Insights (2020).

The researchers used the internet to conduct their investigation to

locate important and pertinent information that was not readily available

in the textbook. The researchers also utilized it to look for similar foreign

languages as well as local research and literature that would support

and assist in providing an answer in the development of the system.

Survey Questionnaire. The researcher used face-to-face survey to

obtain the clarification of the panelist about in the salon that they have

suggest and recommend for the researcher for better improvement to the

development of the system project. The researcher ask the receptionist

by a verbal question and the researcher just write it in the paper after

hearing the receptionist answer.

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
45

The researchers used a survey study method to obtain information

and insights from the client. The data is usually collected using

standardized techniques to guarantee that each respondent can answer

the questions on an equal basis, preventing biased perspectives from

influencing the research or study's outcome. The procedure entails

requesting information from people using a questionnaire, which can be

conducted online or offline.

Interview. The researchers used an interview to obtain more

effective and explicit data. This method allows the interviewer to freely

express their thoughts and revise or ask follow-up questions appropriate

for the occasion.

The researchers conducted interviews with a group of people who

may provide information by meeting and directly connecting with a

portion of our target client. Discussions help the researchers to gain

profound results, further showing the issue and exploring topic opinions

and interviewing experiences. (See Appendix B).

Sources of Data

The data are information or facts used in discussing or deciding

the answer of research question. The source of data in the study is the

subjects from which the data can be collected for the purpose of

research (Arikunto, 2010). A primary source is an account of an event by

a participant or eyewitness at the time. While often textual, primary

BeautyCo: A Web and Mobile-Based Reservation and Management System for Pretty Tipsy Salon
Methodology |
46

sources may take other forms in various areas of research. Works of art,

scientific or sociological data, archeological artifacts, and official

government proceedings also constitute primary sources.A secondary

source interprets, discusses or analyzes. Secondary sources are usually

texts. An author of a secondary source may be distant in time or

geography from the primary source analyzed. Or a secondary source may

be based on other secondary sources (Bowdoin College Library, n.d).

System Requirements

System requirements are the configuration a system must-have for

a hardware or software program to perform smoothly and effectively.

Failure to meet these requirements can result in installation problems

or performance problems.

It is a broad and detailed statement made by the customer to meet

their needs. System requirements are the most effective way to meet

users' needs and reduce implementation costs. System requirements

may lead a firm to save a lot of money and time, or they can cause a

company to waste a lot of money and time. Therefore, they are an

essential part of any project because if the system requirements are not

fulfilled, the project is incomplete. The former may prevent a device or

application from getting installed, whereas the latter may cause a

product to malfunction or perform below expectation o even to hang or

crash (Techopedia).

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This chapter contains a detailed presentation and discussion

of requirements needed for the development of the system, system

design and requirements of the development system, the content

and features.

The requirements needed for the development of the system.

A.Product and Services Management. Product and services

provides trust, adds value to the customer, and guarantee customer

satisfaction. The existing process of Pretty Tipsy Salon is when a client

arrives at the salon and requests a service, the receptionist check to see

if a nail tech is available; if not, the receptionist recommend that the

client wait or schedule another available time. If a nail technician is

available, the service process begin only then. After the service the

customer pay the total service fee to the cashier. Also, ask the

receptionist for the products needed and pay for it at the cashier and

then the customer can leave.

Pretty Tipsy Nail and Waxing Salon may offer a variety of services

such as handcare, footcare, hair free and other services that best care

for your skin and body. The salons have professional nail technicians

that can give you tips on a way to improve your look, style and other

related personal care.

B. Sales and Inventory. The receptionist do the sales services,

sale products, and identify the sales in one day, as well as what services

the nail technicians performed during that day. When it comes to

inventory, they have a master list to view the list of products if it is

deducted, for example, they buy products, and they also have a physical

counting to verify the master list if the number of products is balanced.

C. Employee and Payroll Management. The process of the employee

management if there is a new applicant they must submit a resume and

a Beauty Care Service NCII certificate as a requirement if they apply,

Once they are hired they are required to be train by the pioneer, being a

newbie they observe the pioneer while servicing clients until they become

familiarize the work as a nail technician. The receptionist allow the

newbie to handle and service the client, newbie become a pioneer after 6

months of working on a salon. Performances of Newbie Nail tech are

going to be based as per their work, if they become more advanced they

will become pioneer even if they are newly hires.

The Pretty Tipsy Nail & Waxing Salon used manual process on the

payroll, all the employee's service are listed by the receptionist on the

record book, they have a commission of 20% and meal allowance daily,

newbies have a lower allowance than pioneers. The tip of the customers

is also different from their salary. Then every Sunday the receptionist

computing manually everyone of the employee's commission of their

services and allowances, before releasing the paycheck the receptionist

should report to the manager to be updated.

they have two ways of accepting clients, walk-ins and appointments.

Appointments increased or become trend during pandemic especially in

the pretty tipsy salon because they controlled the number of clients in

the salon as per IATF guidelines.

Client request on appointment thru text or call and they can also

request an appointment using their social media accounts such as

facebook messenger and instagram to be able to be more convenient in

the part of clients. The existing process of Pretty tipsy nail & waxing

salon, first is the client request/set appointment, and check the

availbility of the nail technician and if available the request will be

accepted, and the customer can go to the salon and start the desire

service. If there is no nail technician available, the receptionist

recommend that the client wait or schedule another available time.

System Design and Requirements of the Development System

A. Architectural Framework. According to Redhat (2020), There will be

both front-end and back-end services as part of an application

architecture. Front-end development is concerned with the app's user

experience, whereas back-end development is concerned with providing

access to the data, services, and other existing systems that enable the

app to function.

The architecture serves as a starting point or roadmap for

developing an application, but you must make implementation decisions
