What do you know about the US?--> phần này ứng biến để cho sôi động
…1 thằng ất ơ nào đấy trả lời…
The United States of America, or the US, sometimes the USA for short, is located
in the north America, covering an estimated area of over 9.8 sq kms, putting it in
the third place in the international ranking behind Russia and China.
okay, so we will go into more details about this country

spanning from the atlantic ocean in the east to the Pacific ocean in the West. On
land, it shares its borders with canada and Mexico.
Capital: Washington, D.C
Details:
Consists of 48 contiguous states,
2 non-contiguous states,
The largest state is Alaska, while the opposite is rhode island.
Over 300 Indian reservations (residents are primarily native americans)
1 federal district( D.C = district of Columbia),
many other overseas islands its maritime boundaries are really complicated.
Economy: Obviously, the US is not only big in terms of population and areas, but it is also an
economic powerhouse. It is the richest nation on earth with the annual GDP surpassing 23
trillion dollars, and it has maintained this status since at least 1900. In fact, the US is so rich that
even the State of California alone(which by the way is the richest one) has a GDP exceeding 3
trillion dollars, 10 times higher than Vietnam. This means that even if California was a country
itself, its economy could still rank 5th globally. Its currency, the US dollar is also the most used
in international transactions, and in some nations, it is the official currency.
Part of the reason for this is the fact that the US is the leading figure in science and technology.
Many innovations have been made inside the us: tv, radio, airplanes, cars, 60 percent of all
innovations come from the US. And now, many tech companies are founded in the us. Most
major global companies have their headquarters, or branches in the us.

Landscapes:
- The us has a wide variety of natural landscapes and climate
Alaska: there are many forests, but most of them are covered in snow all year
round. there is just ice, ice and ice everywhere in Alaska, after all it is among the
coldest places on earth.
For the state of Hawaii, there are sandy beaches, and tropical forest, the climate
here is wonderful, making it one of the most attractive tourist destinations.
In the mainland us, the terrains of the east and the west of the us are significantly
different.
- In the eastern part of the country, the landscapes are mostly vast plains , and
older mountain ranges such as the Appalachians. Moreover, this part of the US
has a much bigger green areas mostly deciduous forests and grasslands in the
north, as well as marshes and swamps in the south. There is also a sophisticated
network of rivers, the largest being the Mississippi River. Stretching over 3700
kms, it is considered the fourth longest river in the world. Moreover, the climate
of the eastern part is also more stable, the temperatures are lower, and it rains
more often here, especially in the southeastern state of Florida.
- Meanwhile, the western part of the us largely contains arid plateaus, rugged
terrains and very high mountain ranges, notably the Rocky mountains – the
largest mountain system in northern America. There are also several valleys, the
most famous is undoubtedly the Sillicon valley. Besides there are many deserts
and small areas of forests. Talking about weather, it is much hotter in the west
than in the east, there are droughts more often, and the climate is also more
unstable.
DEMOGRAPHICS:
Population: 331.9 million rank 3rd
The least populous state is Wyoming: 576,851 residents ( this state looks like a
rectangle)

The most populous state is California: nearly 35 million, by the way this is also the
richest state. Its annual GDP is around 3 trillion dollars, 10 times higher than that
of Viet Nam. This means that even if California was a country itself, its economy
could still rank 5th globally.
The urbanization rate of the us is pretty high, with over 83 percent of the
population living in cities or towns. The majority of them concentrate in the coastal
areas and the northeastern part, where there are some of the most prosperous cities,
especially New York, making it the most crowded urban area with over 8.4
million.
