This document provides calculations to determine the heating and cooling capacity requirements for a swimming pool with dimensions of 132 sqm area and 175.61 cu m volume. The calculations are done for summer and winter ambient conditions. For summer, the initial cooling load is 28.3 kW and daily heat gain is 6.34 kW, giving a total cooling load of 49.92 kW. For winter, the initial heating load is 50.95 kW and daily heat loss is 36.96 kW, giving a total heating load of 87.91 kW. Based on these calculations, a heat pump with 90 kW heating and 70 kW cooling capacity is selected.
