Activity 1: The atmosphere

2.1 Explain the importance of the thermosphere. (1X2)
2.2 Why are CFC’s the main cause of ozone depletion? (1X2)

Activity 3: Impact of climate change


1.1 South Africa is generally a dry country and this has put a strain on the country’s water
resources. In a short paragraph of 8-10 lines explain the impact of droughts on South Africa.
