Food business has been a really big trend lately. With the partnership
of Reynold Rarama, Mark Cj Ocampo, John Flores, and John Carlo Medrano
saw the opportunity to bring their favorite food to the market, a deli sandwich.
A well-crafted sandwich is a delightful combination of flavors and textures,
offering a satisfying and convenient meal experience. Its layers of fresh
ingredients, from crisp lettuce to savory meats and creamy condiments,
create a harmonious symphony of tastes. With each bite, a sandwich
provides comfort, nourishment, and a burst of culinary joy. These sandwiches
would be warm and fresh as we would make these in front of our customers.
This business aims to provide customers the most filling and delicious
sandwiches each time they visit the stall by using fresh ingredients sourced
whenever possible. This commitment will lead to us to heights that we are
aiming to reach on which will give us enough funding for a better stall and
equipment.
What makes our product very distinct from everything is on how filling,
healthy and delicious it is and also at a very decent price of ₱60 for each
sadwiches. The business offers 3 different varieties of deli sandwiches, which
are shredded chicken deli, pulled pork and vegan style. The shredded
chicken deli will be presented as our main product to the market. It’s a deli
sandwiches which consists of bread, lettuce, tomato and shredded chicken. A
lot of effort was made to make this product as we tried many different styles
and changes to further fit the Filipino taste. We also have a product mixed
with our sandwiches, a refreshing fresh buko pandan juice.
Competition
There are many competitors in this type of business as food business
is really a common thing. But the more underlying problem is the sheer
number of students who are also going to be selling their own products at the
annual foundation week. Most competitors would have a very unique product
and many varieties, while ours are just sandwiches and not a wide array of
meals that could be serve to the customers. We do have the edge of being a
faster, easy and filling meal rather than many of the competitors on the food
business. But to be more successful in the business we all must show a very
good customer service, consistency and most of all keep the sandwiches as
fresh as possible.
V. Financial Components
We are seeing a stable cashflow for a month. Most of the profit made
from the products would cover the liabilities and expenses that we would
have while the rest would be the net profit that we would have going to our
income.
We are expecting a rough start on our first day as sandwiches are not
really that appealing but we are also expecting for it to change as soon as
noon hits where people would be going hungry and would look for an easy
meal for them to eat, that’s when we will come to the picture. For the next
coming days it’s expected that people who hadn’t had their breakfast would
also come to us in the morning and the noon and afternoon would be where
our business boom as many would be looking for cheap and easy meals.
