General Introduction

1. Purposes of Canvas

1.1 To facilitate the teaching process and encourage students’

independent learning, we are now launching the Canvas system.

1.2 Teachers will be able to: determine the time allocation of each
section during the live session after watching videos, check
students’ performance, grade the FRQ questions.

1.3 We will keep updating the system and bringing you an

excellent experience to work with us!

2. Differentiation among Canvas, ClassIn, and ERP

2.1 Canvas:

- To offer syllabus for teaching so that teachers could deliver

classes based on ASAA academic standards and pacing.

- To offer academic support so that teachers could have more

supplemental materials for delivering better teaching quality.

- To assign homework and exams so that teachers do not need to

spend extra time to design them.

- To calculate the grades based on the homework and exam

assigned on the system.

2
2.2 ClassIn

- To deliver teaching (where you have the class with students)

2.3 ERP

- To upload all scores involved (homework, exams, in-class

performance, etc.)

Note: It’s important to calculate students’ points regarding

homework and exams on Canvas and the scores HAVE TO BE

UPDATED again on ERP since ERP is the ONLY system for ASAA

to attain students’ scores. Students will have NO scores or credits

with the teacher updating to ERP.
