REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (a) Remove the 4 screws. (b) Partially remove the fender liner. HINT: It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner completely. Partially remove it so that the bumper cover can be removed in step (3).

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (a) Put protective tape under the front fender. (b) Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors and 5 screws. (c) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 8 clips. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. (d) w/ Fog lamp: Disconnect the 2 fog lamp connectors.

S Forcibly pulling up the front bumper will deform the claw.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and 2 stoppers. (c) Remove the clip, screw and side spoiler LH. (d) Remove the nut, clip and side spoiler RH. (e) Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips. (f) Disengage the 10 claws labeled A and 2 claws labeled B. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove the moulding. NOTICE: S Do not remove the clips from vehicle body. S If the clips are damaged or removed accidentally, replace them. 2. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING CLIP HINT: Use the following steps (a) to (c) only when replacing the clips. (a) Remove the tape that remains on the mounting surface of the body, and then clean the surface with white gasoline. (b) Heat the clip installation surfaces of the body and moulding. (c) Install new clips in the positions shown in the illustration. Pressfit the clips by hand. NOTICE: After pressfitting the clips, wait 30 minutes or more before installing the moulding. HINT: S Minimum hardening time: 30 minutes S Time needed for complete hardening: 24 hours
