1. List some facts you have learned about polar bears.
- The polar bears have a gene known as APoB, which reduces levels of low-density
lipoproteins (LDLs) – a form of ‘bad’ cholesterol.
- Female polar bears will dig maternity dens in the snow and will remain there
throughout the winter, both before and after the birth of their cubs.
- Pregnant polar bears are able to increase the density of their bones before they
start to build their dens.
- Polar bears can form unusual relationships with other species.
2. Should we protect endangered species such as polar bears? Why or why not?
We should protect all the endangered species, not only polar bears, for some
reasons:
- Protecting the balance of the ecosystem
- Protecting the values they can bring to humans, especially medical
3. What's inside the step pyramid of Djoser?
A burial chamber of the tomb, where Djoser’s body was laid to rest, and a large
number of stone vessels with various forms and shapes were found.
4. How were the Egyptian pyramids built?
The Egyptian pyramids were built by stacking stone slabs on the top of one
another, progressively making them smaller.
5. Will machines replace humans in the future of work?
No, the number of jobs will increase, and social policies will retrain and redeploy
to tackle the problem of redundancies.
6. What is stoicism? What are stoicism principles? Why is stoicism still relevant
today?

- Stoicism is what people have used throughout the history to solve problems and
achieve the greatest triumphs
- Stoicism principles are achieving happiness by leading a virtuous life, controlling
emotions, controlling choices, and having a negative perspective.
- Stoicism is still relevant today due to its brilliant insights into how to lead a good
life.
