Number System
Math is nothing but manipulation of numbers. For Competitive Exams we have to remembers some basic names and rules of number System.

N Natural Numbers { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ……….. } Smallest Natural number is 1


W Whole Numbers { 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ……….. } Smallest Whole number is 0
P Prime Numbers { 2, 3, 5 ,7, 11, 13, 17, ……….} Have only two divisors 1 and itself
O Odd Numbers { 1, 3,5, 7, 9, ………} Not visible by 2
E Even Numbers {0, 2, 4, 8, 10,12, ……… } Divisible by 2
Z Integers The set of all whole numbers plus all the negatives of the natural numbers
Q Rational Numbers Can be written in form of p/q and p is not equal to 0
Q’ Irrational Numbers Can’t be written in form of p/q.
R Real Numbers Union of Rational and Irrational Numbers

For Example: ⅈ 423 , Now divide 423 by 4. Remainder will be 3. So, ⅈ 3 is the result. So final result - ⅈ.
