Using other materials may result in a different finished size. Be sure to check your
gauge and adjust your hook size to obtain the correct gauge. Gauge will be listed at
the start of each section. The finished doll is 22 inches tall.

Hands and Arms
Buff and Brown yarn, 3.5mm hook. Gauge is 5 sts per inch and 5 rounds
per inch. Work in continuous rounds placing a stitch marker at the start of
each round.
Lightly stuff hand, stuff arm as you go. Be careful not to overstuff arm,
later you will need to work the wire frame down the center of the arm
through the stuffing.
Right Hand
Brown and Buff yarn, 3.5mm hook. Gauge is 5 sts per inch and 5 rounds
per inch. Work in continuous rounds placing a stitch marker at the start of
each round.
Connect fingers (using all the Brown fingers) with Brown yarn

remaining sts of ring finger, 3sc into remaining sts of middle
finger, 3sc into remaining sts of index finger (24)
Rnd 2-4 : sc around (24)
Take the wire, cut one section 11 1/2 inches long. Bend that section 5
inches with 1 1/2 inch center, 5 inches again. This forms the blades for the
index finger and little finger. Cut two 6 inch sections. Fold an inch of each
section around the 1 1/2 inch part of the first section. Use tape to secure
each one into place. This forms the blades for the middle finger and ring
finger. Photo is above.
Insert the wire blades into the hand, each wire blade should come out of
the fingers between row 3 and 4, centered at the top of the finger. Photo is
above.

Rnd 50-51 : sc around (26)
For the first leg (left leg), end rnd 51 with a sl st, cut and fasten off
For the second leg (right leg), continue rnd 51 until you have come to the
center of the inside of the leg. This is to shift the starting point. I did 15sc
extra. Do the number of sc you need to end in the correct place. After you
have ended rnd 51 in the correct place, ch 4.
Rnd 52 : sc into the left leg at the center of the inside of the leg, 25sc
(around left leg), 4sc (into ch sps), 26sc (around right leg), 4sc

Rnd 53-61 : sc around (60)
Make the wire frame. Cut two sections of wire 18 1/2 inches each. Holding both
sections together, (measure 8 inches) bend in a 90 degree angle, (measure 2 1/2
inches) bend again. This forms the legs. Cut two sections 8 inches long. Holding
both sections together wrap about an inch around the center of the leg section
(where the crotch would be). This forms the body. Cut two sections 15 inches
long. This is the arm. Holding both sections center it at the top of the body and
using the body section fold about an inch around the arms. Wrap the entire
frame in tape to secure it.
Insert the wire frame into the legs. Carefully work the frame down the
center of the stuffing. Stuff the rest of the body as you go.
Tip : using the wooden dowel from the fiber fill, twist back and forth while
slowly pushing down all the way to the bottom. Remove the dowel leaving
a void in the stuffing to insert the wire frame into.
Rnd 62 : 4sc, dec, (8sc, dec) x5, 4sc (54)
Rnd 63-71 : sc around (54)

Rnd 83-91 : sc around (42)
At the end of rnd 91, continue to sc until you are at the center of the back.
This is to shift the start point for the next rnd. I did 7sc extra. Do the
number of sc you need to end in the correct place. You will be connecting
the arms in rnd 92. When connecting the arms pay close attention to the
position of the arms. Before beginning rnd 92, put the arms on the wire
frame. Work the frame down the center of stuffing in each arm. Use the
same tip as with the legs.
Rnd 92 : 9sc, (sc into a st from the left arm and a st of the body) x3, 18sc,
(sc into a st from the right arm and a st from the body) x3, 9sc

Rnd 93 : 9sc, 12sc (around the left arm, leaving the 3 connecting sts
unworked), 18sc, 12sc (around the right arm, leaving the 3
connecting sts unworked), 9sc (60)

Taupe yarn, 4mm hook. Gauge is 4sts per inch and 4 rounds per inch.
Work in continuous rounds, placing a st marker at the start of each round.
For the first pant leg (right), cut and fasten off. For the second pant leg
(left), connect it to the first one with 4sc that go through one st of each
pant leg.
Rnd 28 : 27hdc (around left pant leg), insert hook into the first connecting
sc and pull a loop through, insert hook into first hdc of right pant
leg and pull a loop through, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops

Row 16-18 : ch 1, hdc around, sl st into first hdc (21)
~change to green
Row 19 : ch 1, (hdc, dec) x7, sl st into first hdc (14)
Cut green leaving a tail to sew to sweater, cut fasten off all other ends
Cut slits around the collar, bottom, and cuffs. Be careful not to cut into the
green. Using superglue, glue all around the cuts to keep the area from
unraveling completely. Set aside for about 30 minutes to allow the glue to
dry. It will dry white. Using black eyeshadow, darken the area the glue is
on to make it look burnt.
Put the sweater on the doll. Put on the main part first (over the head),
being careful when working the blades through the arm holes. Put on the
sleeves second, being careful when working the blades through the
sleeve. Sew the sleeves to the arm holes. 14 hdc of the sleeve and 14 sts
of the arm hole (4 skipped under arm, 10 ch sps over arm).
Hat
Brown yarn, 4mm hook. Gauge is 5sts per inch and 5 rounds per inch.
Work in continuous rounds, placing a st marker at the start of each round.
Push the top down into the hat. On both sides of the front point, indent
and sew to the inside.
Head
Buff yarn, 3.5mm hook. Gauge is 5 sts per inch and 5 rounds per inch.
Work in rounds placing a stitch marker at the start of each round. Stuff as
you go and near the end, be sure to firmly stuff the nose, cheeks and chin.
Facial features
White and black crochet thread, Buff yarn, 3.25mm and 3.5mm hook.
Gauge is not important. Work in rows.

Ears (make 2)
Buff yarn and 3.5mm hook
Ch 13, starting in second ch from hook
Row 1 : sc across (12)
Cut leaving a tail to sew to head
Insert the safety eye into the center of the magic ring. Place the eyes on
the head with the safety eye in the center. The 9sc are the top eyelid and
the 9sl sts are the bottom eyelid. Position each eye with the ch 1 sps
(corners of the eye lids), at a tilt. Sew the eyes into place by sewing along
the post of the sc and into the chain sps.
Remove the safety eye and put super glue in the space it belongs in. Put
the safety eye back in, hold for a few seconds while the glue dries.
Using Buff yarn, make chains. I made three chains 75 chain spaces long,
one chain 200 chain spaces long. Sew the chains around the spots
connecting spots as you go.
Cut a long strand of Buff yarn, weave this strand back and forth through
the chain spaces in random placement.
Sew the ears to the sides of the head. Sew over top of the burn design
you have already worked on the head.
Insert the wooden dowel into the body, leaving about 4 inches to place the
head onto.
