    I. ACTIVITY:

    Title: TLE/TVL DAY 2023


    Date: June 22, 2023
    Venue: Laak National High School Gymnasium

    II. RATIONALE:

    TLE/TVL Day, also known as Technology and Livelihood Education and


    Technology (TLE) and Technical-Vocational Livelihood Day, is one of the best
    practices of Laak National High School even before pandemic strike the world. A day
    dedicated to promote the importance of technology and livelihood education in
    schools and communities. The rationale behind this day is to raise awareness about
    the significance of TLE in equipping students with the necessary skills and
    knowledge to succeed in the workplace.

    TLE/TVL encompasses a wide range of subjects, including computer literacy,


    entrepreneurship, home economics, and industrial arts. By teaching these subjects,
    students are given the opportunity to develop practical skills that can be applied in
    real-world situations. This, in turn, can help them become more employable and
    financially independent.

    Overall, TLE/TVL Day is an important initiative of the TLE/TVL Department


    and aside from showcasing the products of students, skills and talents of various
    services, the TLE Department will also launch the “Primera de Pasalubong” a Laak
    NHS Crafty Shop with various display of cookery products and other TLE related
    outputs that will inspire not only the school but the community as well in
    entrepreneurial activity.

    III. OBJECTIVES:

    1) To showcase students’ skills and talents in TLE/TVL practices.


    2) To display various products made by students from their respective field of
    TLE and TVL Courses.
    3) To promote entrepreneurial activity through the launching of “Primera de
    Pasalubong” a Laak NHS Crafty Shop.
