The Government of Andhra Pradesh had previously permitted the Chief Engineer of the Inter State & Water Resources Unit to renew the lease of their existing office-cum-guest house in New Delhi. However, they are now permitting the relocation of this office to a new location that is more centrally located and closer to important institutions. Specifically, the Chief Engineer is allowed to enter an agreement and shift the office to a new address, paying a monthly rent of Rs. 1,90,000 including maintenance charges to the new owner. This supercedes the previous order regarding continuing the lease at the existing location.

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read a bove, orders were issued according


permission to Chief Engineer, JS&WR , Hyderabad for renewal of lease
agreement of existing Office-cum-Guest House of JS&WR Unit at E-28 ,
South Extension (Part-I) New Delhi for a period of 3 years from
02.03.2014 to 01.03.2017 @ Rupees 2.25 Lakhs per month until
further orders of Hon'ble High Court in O.S.No.534/2012 and I.A.
No.4092/2012, with the concurrence of Finance Department vide
U.O.No. 1862/52/Exp.PW.I/2014 , Dt:28.02. 2014.

2. In the reference 3,d read above, orders were is sued according


permission to the Chief Engineer, JS&WR A.P. , to enter into
agreement with the New owner i.e., Sri Depak Mahajan, H .No :C-99,
South Extension, Part-II, New Delhi - 49 with a monthly rent of
Rs.1,70,000/- Plus Rs.20,000/- towards monthly maintenance
charges and also to pay one month rent in advance to enable to shift
to New premises by 01.06.2015.

3. In the circumstances explained by the Chief Engineer, JS&WR,


A.P., in the reference 4 th read above and after careful examination of
the proposal, in supersession of the orders issued in the reference 3,d
read above, Government hereby accord permission to the Chief
Engineer, JS&WR, A.P., for relocating the existing office cum guest
house from E-28, South Extension, Part-I, New Delhi to C-98, South
Extension, Part-II, New Delhi-110049, which is centrally located and
very nearer to Krishna Tribunal, Supreme Court of India,
Vamsadhara Tribunal and AP Bhavan.

4. The Chief Engineer, IS&WR, A.P., is also permitted to enter into


agreement with the n ew owner i.e., M/s. K.S .Vanijya (P) Ltd,
Guwahati represented by its director Sri Birendra Chowdary, H.No:C-
98, South Extension, Part-II, New Delhi-49 with a monthly rent of
Rs . I,90 ,000/- including maintenance charges for common areas
electricity, cleaning, security, annual maintenance of lift etc., and also
to pay one month rent in advance to enable to shift to New premises
immediately.
