As a language, it has been described as music to the ears and

sweet on the tongue for people who are speaking it. The journey
of Spanish and its evolution is nothing less than incredible.

Having its deep roots in the Romance language, derived from

Latin, has been spreading far and wide ever since its inception
becoming the most widely spoken Romance language. It's the
official language of 21 countries. A fact known to few is that
Arabic also exerted a heavy influence on the language.

Looking at the numbers it is also regarded as the second mother

tongue of the world with over 483 million people as native
speakers. Spanish is the third most used language on the
internet with almost 22 million people studying it in around 110
countries and these numbers are only growing. The Spanish-
speaking segment is the fastest-growing segment of the world.

3. Not a difficult language to learn

Spanish is not a complex foreign language to learn. Written Spanish is
almost completely phonetic. You can pronounce most Spanish words

Our Spanish courses are designed as per the Diploma of
Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE)” and “The
International Spanish Language Evaluation Service (SIELE)”,
the two certification systems of Spanish proficiency.

1. BEGINNER( A1 )
The whole focus is to make the learner familiar with the language, understand and
speak basic phrases in daily life situations.
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases
aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about
personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows, and things
he/she has.
Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly
and is prepared to help

2. Elementary ( A2 )
Comprehending and using simple phrases and structures with a better knowledge
of Spanish grammar and its application.
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of
most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information,
shopping, local geography, employment).
Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct
exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate
environment, and matters in the areas of immediate need.

3. Intermediate ( B1 )
The whole focus is on making the learner express his/her own thoughts in Spanish.
The syllabus is designed to improve oral and written expression using some
techniques particular to the language.
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters
regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
Can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the
language is spoken.
Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal
interest.
Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions and
briefly give reasons and explanations for opinion and plans

4. Advanced ( B2 )
Introduction to advanced grammar, speaking, listening, and written expressions and
topics. The focus is to develop the learner’s ability to comprehend and discuss with
frequent use of advanced vocabulary.
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract
topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular
interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a
viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of
various options.

5. Proficiency ( C1 )
At C1, the learner’s ability to comprehend any written text or audio clips in Spanish
increases exponentially. The focus is to bring them to ease with the language
making them an expert at it.
Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize
implicit meaning.
Can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching
for expressions.
Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic, and professional
purposes.
Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing
controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors, and cohesive devices.

6. Mastery ( C2 )
The whole point is to become as effective as a native speaker. The C2 lets you
become that with the optimum level of effective professional and operational
proficiency. It’s a journey worth taking.
Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read.
Can summarize information from different spoken and written sources,
reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.
Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently, and precisely,
differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.
What is
Dele?
DELE Spanish Diplomas are official titles
certifying the degree of competence and
mastery of the Spanish language, granted by
Spain's Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport.

The Instituto Cervantes organizes examination

sessions, while the Universidad de Salamanca
in Spain designs the exams and is in charge of
corrections and the final evaluation of all
exams.

Modular learning system

One module - three lessons of 90 minutes. The focus of each
module is one lexical topic, one grammatical topic, and one
pronunciation topic.

Vocabulary
Every week we work on a new lexical topic. You can also
practice it using the mobile app, on your tablet or computer.

Pronunciation
Pronunciation for every lesson. We carefully monitor how you
speak and actively develop the skill of correct pronunciation.

Grammar
We don't teach hundreds of rules. We show you a pattern
(grammatical construction) and immediately activate it at a
conversational level. Thus, we form the habit of its use.
