2. This datasheet shall be read conjunction with Specification for Instrument Air Package (Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-ME1-SP-009) and PID (Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-PR1-PID-065).
3. Air Dryers Skid is installed on Cellar deck, under proof (plating deck), in a non-hazardous area. Two sides of skid are surrounded with firewalls, the side adjacent to the sea
is shielded and placed more than 10m deep inside (Refer to Equipment Layout -Cellar Deck, Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-PI1-LD-005).
The Local Control Panel (LCP) shall be in accordance with Specification for Package Equipment Instrumentation (KNT-002-TS-IA2-SP-006), except that the minimum
ingress protection shall be IP54.
Other Electrical & Instrument equipment / components shall be as per Manufacturer standards.
4. The protective coating, painting and finishes shall comply with Painting Specification for Platform (Doc. No.: KNT-002-GE-AC7-SP-002).
VENDOR standard painting system suitable for site environment may be used and subjected to company approval. Final coat colour shall be as per project standard.
5. Air Dryers, in duty / standby mode, shall be designed to handle air from Air Compressors which are configured as 2 x 100% lead / lag operation mode.
And each Air Dryer shall consist of 1 twin tower heatless air dryer for continuous supply of dry air. The twin tower unit shall consist of 2 vessels (one running, one regeneration)
and operate in a batch mode with one on-line and the other regenerating with automatic changeover. The dryer drying/regeneration sequence shall be fully automatic and
shall not require any operator intervention. Regeneration shall be initiated based on adjustable timer or based on dew point analyzer or by demand as per operator convenience.
6. The regeneration flow shall not exceed 18% of the inlet flowrate of the dryer
7. Two Air Dryer packages shall be located on 1 common skid. Each Air Dryer package shall have its own Local Control Panel which shall include display screen , panel mounting for operation.
All instrument interface cables shall be terminated within the LCP on the Air Dryer at the skid. All controls / Instrumentation & trip shall be configured within the package LCP
with necessary interfacing with ICSS as per Specification for Instrument Air Package (Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-ME1-SP-009) and PID (Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-PR1-PID-065).
8. Vendor to advise the filter quantity & type to protect the desiccant and achieve the outlet air quality.
9. Dryer towers and all Filters' housing shall be designed, fabricated, tested and inspected in accordance with ASME VIII div.1 and Specification for Pressure
Vessels (Doc. No.: KNT-002-TS-ME1-SP-001).
10. Stainless steel material used shall be of minimum SS316 grade. VENDOR shall verify and confirm the material suitability.
All material shall be ASTM / ASME or provided with ASTM / ASME equivalent.
11. Pre-Filters shall be supplied with differential pressure transmitter and auto-drain trap. After-Filters shall be supplied with differential pressure transmitter.
