CLASSROOM POLICIES
1.CLASS PREPARATION:
2. CLASS PROCEDURE:
(a) Students must participate during class discussion.
(b) If given a classroom activity such as seatwork or individual/group, they can ask assistance from the faculty or classmate for better understanding.
(c) Students should work on his/her own during quizzes.
(d) Students must refrain from going out of the class. Unless, it is a personal necessity.
(e) Correction of returned examination paper, assignment, seatwork or quiz shall only be entertained and validated within the class period after returning the paper. Proxy is not allowed.
(f) Special Examination/Long quiz may be given only to the student(s) who missed the examination/long quiz with a valid reason/s (e.g. serious health condition). The student must submit formal request
letter sign by the parent or guardian, addressed to the instructor and noted by the department head together with the supporting documents.
3. END OF CLASS
(a) Assigned group should arrange the chairs, turn off the lights and close the doors.
4. ON EXAMINATION:
(a) Use test booklet as prescribed by the College of Engineering.
(b) Use BLUE or BLACK ink during long quiz or examination.
(c) All work should be legible and neat. Erasure is prohibited.
(d) Cheating of any form shall automatically get a score of Zero (0) for a particular long quiz/examination. (refers to the Student's Manual)
5. CONSULTATION
(a) It should be done during the consultation hours of the faculty as posted in the department head's office.
(b) Appointment of consultation should be requested to the department’s secretary one day before the schedule.
INC if there is missing any of the course requirements listed. Given (2) Two semesters to comply the (INC) incomplete. PASSING RATE is 60%.
