Once a year using the regular

Pap smear or every two years


using the liquid-based Pap test

Every two to three years if you've


had three normal Pap smears in
a row.

You may stop having Pap


smears if you've had normal
results three tests in a row and
you've had normal Pap smears
over the past 10 years.
• EARLY SEXUAL ACTIVITY
• MULTIPLE SEXUAL PARTNERS
• PAST H/O SEXUALY TRANSMITTED
DISEASE
• FAMILY H/O CERVICAL CANCER
• HIV INFECTION,HPV&HSV TYPE-II
INFECTION.
• OCP FOR MORE THAN 5 YRS
• EXPOSURE TO DES B4 BIRTH
• WEEKENED IMMUNITY DUE TO ORGAN
TRANSPLANTION,CT,PROLONGED STEROID
THERAPY

• History of IUD use Risk factors
• Previous abnormal Pap smears
• Relevant clinical information-.e.g., abnormal
bleeding, discharge, pelvic pain, etc

" EVIDENCE THAT THE
TRANSFORMATION ZONE WAS SAMPLED
