The instructional approach is a combination of systematic and regional anatomy and physiology with some surface
anatomy and radiologic considerations. Physiology and anatomy of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine, renal and
gastrointestinal systems as well as anatomy of the reproductive and integumentary systems and special senses will be
covered. Laboratories utilize human tissue materials, anatomical models, charts, and prosected cadavers and cadaver
specimens.
Prerequisites:
Kinesiology 259.
Antirequisites:
Credit for Kinesiology 260 and any of Biology 305, Medical Science 404, Nursing 222, Zoology 461 or 463 will not be
allowed.
Course Objectives:

Assessment Components/Expectations
Grading Scale:
NOTE: Grades will be assigned based on earned marks to one decimal point. Rounding grades is not an accepted practice
in the Faculty of Kinesiology and, therefore, the grade brackets detailed above are not flexible (i.e., 87.9 is never 88.0).
Students registered for Tuesday and Thursday lab exams must attend their scheduled lab time for their Lab Midterm,
unless special accommodations have been granted by the instructor. Students registered for Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday labs must attend the Lab Midterm time slot they signed up for. Attendance to any other exam time is not permitted,
unless approved by the instructor. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a grade of zero.
Final Exam:
The Lecture Final is scheduled by the Registrar and will be between April 15-26, 2023. The final exam will be two hours
long and consist of multiple choice questions.
Students registered for Tuesday and Thursday lab exams must attend their scheduled lab time for their Lab Final, unless
special accommodations have been granted by the instructor. Students registered for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
labs must attend the Lab Final time slot they signed up for. Attendance to any other exam time is not permitted, unless
approved by the instructor. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a grade of zero.
Late Policy:
It is the student’s responsibility to supply proper documentation and/or notification prior to the scheduled labs and/or
exams to support their circumstance. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a grade of zero for any exams and
you will not be able to make up another exam without written permission from Dr. Cho.
Students are expected to read and sign the “Code of Conduct for Anatomical Laboratories”, which will be posted on D2L.
Email, while commonly used, does limit the effectiveness of communications and may not be the best way for instructors
to answer student questions. Therefore, the instructor may request a telephone call or personal meeting. Your instructor
will inform you as to their expectations about emails.
Students’ Union:
The Faculty of Kinesiology representative is Jessie Dinh and can be reached at [email protected].

activities and includes: cheating; fabrication; falsification; plagiarism; unauthorized assistance; failure to comply with an
