I went to Frank’s place and I really enjoyed myself, he spent so much money on me, took me for
shopping, babe your clothes are too spiritual and I want you to look very hot and presentable and

For a month, Lucy did not come home, I tried reaching her but she kept busting her calls, then
after two weeks, she chatted me up on what’s, am fine don’t call me, I am very busy with my

I just kept praying for her, not until she returned suddenly and was inside all through, I knocked
and call but no response, so I thought she doesn’t want to talk until I heard her crying at night,
but she still refused to open the door.

but she refused to open, until one evening she knocked my door, I opened the door and I saw her
looking pale, bruises all over and I hugged her tightly.

Lucy, your temperature is high, let me get you paracetamol, wait have you eaten I asked and she
was just staring, sit, I allowed her sit on my bed and gave her malt from my fridge , please drink I
begged her.

Then gave her paracetamol, I am a nurse by training, so I did tepid sponging for her and soon
her temperature was normal and she slept off, while I prepared something for her to eat.

Few hours later, she woke up and I persuaded her to eat, please eat, so you can be strong, i had
to feed her and I allowed her stay in my room that night, I was in afternoon duty, the next day, so I
was with her in the morning.

Lucy, do you want to talk about it, no I don’t want to talk about it, I allowed her be, I can’t force
her, so I went to the hospital that afternoon, while we were less busy some nurses started
gusting, at first I did not join them, I just listened, but later I had to talk.

Nurse Simi, if you really want that boy to love you, then sleep with him, that is the trend now, my
sister you better do the needful, I am talking from a married woman’s perspective, I had **x with
my husband several times before we got married.

When I noticed he was misbehaving, I quickly trapped him with pregnancy and luckily for me, his

That Friday, we had our yearly single ladies summit in church and as one of the executives, and
organizer I was there early to see that everything was going on smoothly.
During the service, we prayed and I was privileged to preach and the glory of God was revealed
in our midst.

Testimony time, overcomers time, Sister Lizzy anchored that session, I am here to return all glory
to God and appreciate Minister Peace, infact God used her for me.

Since I was matured, no man as ever asked me out or even told me am beautiful, during the last
single summit, she mentioned my case and that week , my boss younger brother said I was
attractive and from there we went on a date, he asked me out and by this month ending , we will
be getting married. Praise the Lord.

The church shouted Hallelujah, another testifier came out, I am here to return all glory to God
and appreciate Minister Peace for yielding to God, I am Mrs Hosanna Badru, I came to the last
summit in tears and frustration and then waited for counselling and I saw Mama Peace, she said
to me daughter, God will sort you out, worry no more Phil4:6

And I held on to the word of God, I am a single mother of two, no marriage, and God in his infinite
Mercy settled me this year January, I have already become a laughing stock , but God changed
my story, he gave me one of his treasures, celebrate Jesus… the whole church clapped.

And we know God is set to do more, we have 10 wedding IV , who did it,JESUS O MY GOD…,

I was happy with the move of God in our midst and we interceded for other single ladies looking
to God for marital settlement. The program was finally over.

How come she prays for others , they get answers, WHAT ABOUT HER ???

My sister I don’t know, look at the amount of people that got married within last year may and
now, a total of 12 , minus the once who just brought IV .

Lucy’s POV

See my dear friend, don’t mind that old cargo, she wants you to die single, if all she say is real,
where is her prove,if you have been trying a method for a period of time and it doesn’t work,
what will you do??, Ejiro asked

I will try using another method, I replied, thank God you know, a word is enough for the wise , she
said.

She left Saturday afternoon, What has happened has happened , I need to move on , it can
happen to anybody, so I replied Jude’s message, I will love to give us a try.

I started dating Jude and immediately my rent expired, I moved to his place , so we could bond
more and I can chase every other girl away,i thought I had marked my territory so well, we dated
for months, he was a perfect gentle man.

Until one afternoon, a lady came in and announced she was few weeks pregnant for Jude, I was
laughing thinking it was a prank, I waited for Jude to come back from work.

Mary what are you doing here, he asked,I think, so Jude this is the reason you asked me not to
come to this place, but I am here to stay and guess what your mom is on her way here already, I
am 3 weeks gone.

don’t know how to call Peace, I called everyone I know, but they kept giving excuses and it was
afternoon already.

I decided to call Peace, i dialled her number, hello Peace, after we exchanged pleasantries,
please babe am stranded, can I stay over for few weeks, I asked , your room is still free, though
someone came to check it last week and she said she will get back to the landlord.

So you can come and then we speak to the landlord about it, she said, thank you sister I said and
she laughed, you are welcome sister.

I quickly paid the rent into the landlord account as I got into the cab that drove me home, I met
Peace with few ladies in the sitting room , I greeted them and she joined me in carrying my stuffs
in before going back to join them.

I wonder what she is doing again.

EPISODE 6

I was surprised to see Lucy following the same path again and in few weeks, she moved in with
him, she said she wants to mark her territory, and not give any girl a chance around him.

So I let her be, she is an adult, even God gives us the privilege to choose in Deuteronomy 30:19-I
am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse,
and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.

My mom has been calling me, your cousin that stayed with you few months ago is already in a
serious relationship, what is wrong Tofunmi, mummy please stop putting pressure on me, I am
not the one that will marry myself.

And my God has assured me, he will give me his perfect will, I told her, you better hasten up,
Precious your sister is pregnant for her third child, mom there is time for everyone, don’t let this
waiting period hard for me, than it is already.
I couldn’t control my emotions, so I just had to end the call, Lord I am tired of all this, I have

you have not fully entered into your purpose , there is more for you to do, see my daughters how
their mindset is only narrowed to marriage.

Yes I created marriage, but I also created purpose, many young ladies have sold their birthright
for a plate of pottage, few minutes enjoyment, they now love a man more than God, I sent you
not just to pray for singles but also to reset their head.

And I need you to go deep into it, so what should I do , start having fellowship with young girls,
direction for singles and married hub, then you have social media accounts, why is it dormant.

Show your face to the world that you stand for the truth or are you ashamed of me, no not at all, I
replied, and when you do this, watch me making all things work together for your good ,
Habakkuk 2:1-I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see
what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint.

Stand and your guard post, seek God first and all other things shall be added unto you, I started
praying about it and after a few weeks,I told some single ladies in the church and the ones I know
and few of them started coming over for the fellowship twice every month.

I felt so FUFILLED and busy work for God and my career, I started this TikTok challenge, I stand
for sexual purity, not because my hormones are not functioning, not because blood doesn’t run
through my veins, but I subject my flesh through the help of the HolySpirit.

So I started a monthly series online and some perso castigated it and a few persons liked, typical
Nigerian, sha it is God that has sent me and I don’t mind be criticised,after all Jesus said in the
book of Mathew10:22-And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth
to the end shall be saved.

So I was not discouraged,this not even persecution, it is criticism, my people will say, i iro ba lo
fun ogun odun ojo kan ni otito aba" meaning If lies travels for as long as 20yrs the truth shall
meet up with it and when the truth comes it endures forever.

We started and persons began to bring their friends too and some guys started complaining, we
also want to be a part of this movement, so I started praying about it and I was given a go ahead,
so I was going to inform the ladies that Sunday.

All of a sudden, I got a call from Lucy, hi babe, we exchanged pleasantries, please babe am
stranded, can I stay over for few weeks, I asked , your room is still free, though someone came to
check it last week and she said she will get back to the landlord, I replied her.

She came in and met us during our fellowship,she greeted, I excused the ladies and helped her
with her luggage, we will talk when I am done, I told her as I left.

We finished the fellowship for that week and I announced the update,and slot of persons were
happy about it and very soon we would also be having executives.

After the fellowship, i knocked at Lucy’s door and I met her moody face, what happened,I
thought you said he was different, see ther is another woman that his mother approved off, he
introduced me as a friend with accommodation issues,I laughed and met her angry stare.

Am sorry, I did not mean to, I said holding my mouth, i called Ejiro, Bolu, Sarah, none of them
could help me, thank God this place was free,hmmmm i sighed.

So have you called the landlord, there is no need , I have sent his money, Lucy that’s wrong ooo, I
said, see am not in the mood for explanation.

Okay, I have jollof rice, do you care for, am fine she said, okay goodnight, I entered my room to
study the bible and pray before sleeping, I hope she doesn’t go back to her sin.

EPISODE 7

The landlord came around on Monday morning and started complaining, Lucy I am not giving my
house to you again, you are so disrespectful, you packed out without prior notice and still pack in
without a word.

I have transferred your money back to your account and I want you out of the room by tomorrow,
someone has paid for the room, the landlord said and left.

We tried persuading him but he refuse, I told you to inform him, what do you do now, call one of
your friends, there place is not free, shay I told you, she said
They pushed you to do what is not right and when the repercussion came, they left you, have you
seen why you should not do what others are doing but what is right.

Please can I stay with you, till I get a better space, ah that will be hard, we need to speak to the
landlord, babe please, I don’t want any issue with him, ok let’s call him, she said.

See Peace, you can do anything you like in your apartment, but that girl won’t be my tenant
anymore, if you can cope with her, let her stay, he said after so much plea.

So she moved into my room that evening and I persuaded her to go to church and she started
going but before I knew it, Lucy started following different guys and within 6months, she had
changed 3 men.

Babe, you can’t be doing this in my space, I stand for purity and I won’t entertain any form of
indecency, see Peace your own is too much, if you know you are tired of me in your space, come
out plain and I will leave.

That was how she moved out of the apartment, I continued my work with God and it was yielding
increase, my new flatmate Tomisin,was really helpful, she joined my church and also the direction
for single and married hub.

I was surprised when my mom visited surprisingly, I met her in the living room, when I came,
mom you did not tell me, you are coming, good afternoon ma.

If the mountain will not go to Mohammed,, then I think Mohammed will have to go to the
mountain, she said, Tofunmi you stopped coming home, The only thing you do is send money
and do videos with me.

Mummy with the nature of my job, we hardly have holidays, I said, but you can hangout with your
church people, you can post videos on TikTok and Instagram , she said.

So mummy you follow me on social media, that is not what I am talking about, don’t use idea to
change the topic, yes you are doing well for yourself and I like the movement on social media for
purity, but there is no time.

started laughing.

vigil in church.

It’s only church you know, you will come back and meat me, I am prepared for you.

I entered into by bathroom, thinking of all Mum has been saying, through this ministry you have
given me Lord, many have got answered prayer, what about me??

I came out of the bathroom and dressed up, then I got a message from the youth leader, you will
be anchoring a prayer session tonight, I felt like staying at home, am tired Lord, I climbed my bed
to sleep, but I was restless, I got up picked my bag and bible and left for church.

I noticed the Holyspirit was not happy, i just prayed for forgiveness and when I got to the church
the program was about to start, so I just entered into one of the children dept room to pray for a
while.

Lord I am sorry, I said in tear, then this song dropped in my spirit, take not the Holyspirit from me,
restore unto me, the joy of my salvation and renew my spirit within me.

Lord my spirit is weak from pressure, mockery and insult, I am sorry I considered choosing
between you and my desires, Renew my spirit man, I prayed in tongues also and I felt a inner
peace.

My dear you don’t need marriage to have a stable emotions, nor a man to make you happy, yes it
is important, two are better than one, but when your desire takes the place or begin to contend
with the place of God, it becomes a problem.

You need to get to that place, where your main desire is Jesus, whether God grants you your
desire or not, you still reference him as God, he is sovereign, he does as he pleases for his
pleasure.

All things are created for his pleasure, you don’t dictate to him how he will do it, he does as he
pleases, your own is to keep praying, keep asking until you receive, just like the widow in the
book of Luke 18, her persistency in asking, provoked an answer from the judge.

Talk more of God, if humans that are naturally wicked won’t give their children serpent when they
ask for fish nor stone for bread, Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think
God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep
putting them off?

Even in my silence, concerning this issue, i speak, your season of wait is for a purpose, maximize
the season, the HolySpirit said to me. His words where soothing and comforting and it healed my
spirit.

I opened the bathroom in the children’s room washed my face and wiped it with my handkerchief
and applied a little powder before going to join in the vigil.

The vigil was exceptional as the presence of God was evidence among us, Tomisin could not
attend the vigil, she was going on a date, I did not check my phone, until I got home in the
morning .

I logged in on WhatsApp with two notifications, one from Tomisin, Sister God has done it, I am
engaged, she said and I was genuinely happy for her, I knocked her door , babe this calls for
celebration, I said, yes we are going out in the evening, me, yous, Paul sand few friends, she
said.

Then the other message was from Lucy, I am getting married, my hard work has paid off, she
said, Congratulations sis.

I did not know, my mom was listening to my talk with Tomisin and even peeped my chat with
Lucy, see that you have been left behind, mom am not behind ,I am at the fore front of fulfilling
purpose.

See mummy, I will wait on God for his time and perfect will, no matter how long, Habakkuk 2:3-
For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not

EPISODE 9

That evening my mum went back to Ibadan, I will keep praying for you, she said as she entered
the cab to the park.

That evening i went out with Tomisin and her fiancée and few friends to celebrate with them,
Rom 12:15a-Rejoice with those who rejoice, it was fun filled as I met new persons.

There was this guy Fred, he was on my case and we finally exchanged numbers and he started
asking me out, at first I wasn’t interested, babe at least give him a try, get to know him, Tomisin
advices and i agreed.

He took me out few times and he was really cool,after some months I noticed, he was always
criticizing my assignment and he started calling me a feminist, but I was making excuses for him,
though we were not officially in a relationship as the Holyspirit was not saying anything.

Lucy called me to buy clothes, you won’t be able to join the asoebi because the styles the chose,
kind of revealing and I know mummy Jesus won’t like it, she said and I did not argue with her, i
bought the Ankara and planned to attend.

Babe when are you going to give me a reply, Fred asked one day he came visiting me, as soon as
the Lord speaks, make it quick babe, I can’t wait to enjoy relationship privilege, he said.

Which one is relationship privilege again, k*ssing, romance and all, he said and I sat up thinking
he was joking, there are better things to offer in relationship , the once you are mentioning are
marriage privileges, I said.

You are joking right?, he asked,am not Fred, ama Christian that stands for everything the
scripture says, till we get married you won’t get those privilege, i said, am I not a Christian too??

Fastforward to Lucy’s wedding in April, it was an exotic one, but I was surprise to the kind of
clothes the ASOEBI girls were wearing, infact among the youth, I was the only one that was
wearing a proper dress, so I planned not to stay for too long.

Then I notice she was pregnant like 4-5months gone, as a nurse I could predict, I smiled and
nodded my head, the dancing were so well and it did not go down with my spirit and most of the
drinks were alcoholic, i enveloped some amounts of money and squeezed it in her hand, I have to
go now, I whispered to her ear.

For a month I did not hear from Fred, he did nit even reply my messages online , so I decided to
let him be, we had our single summit the next months and again God was evidence among us.

This year was better, many of our previous members who were now married came around, some
where pregnant , some with their kids, so it was more like a reunion and they all shared their
marriage experience with the singles.

See marriage doesn’t complete a man, it is just a step up to fulfilling purpose, who you Mary can

I was almost missing it, I already had two children from a man that was supposed to marry me,

him no s**until marriage and he agreed, and it’s been a wonderful journey since then.

I was 43years old , when I was introduced to this household of faith, I had even given up on
marriage, as it is said that we enter menopause at 45 in my family, I met my husband and in the
space of 6months we courted without involving in premarital sex and then started planning our
marriage that same year and when I was celebrating my 45th birthday, I already had my triplets,
what God can not do does not exist.

I don’t know what your story is , but I tell you there is no protocol God cannot break and there is
no story he cannot change, believe and keep doing the will of God.
The encouragement was super great and it stared up a desire to pray in our hearts and we
prayed and there was also good news this year, many invitations

The next two month was atomising wedding and that was when i saw Fred again.

EPISODE 10

It was indeed a beautiful day, the wedding ceremony was awesome, preparation from traditional
wedding to last hang out as a single to bridal shower to the white wedding was stressful but
memorable.

Fred was avoiding me like a plague coupled with he came around with a lady, during the last
hangout as a single, he was just misbehaving , guy this hang out is to casual, you are suppose to
enjoy the last moments with different babes, he said it out not minding the fact that the lady he
brought was there with him.

No wonder God was silent about him, am sure if he had said no, maybe I would keep making
excuses for him, but this few moments, I was disgusted with his behaviour.

I enjoyed the party and also tap into her testimony, God still has his trusted sons, mine is not
exception.

Within a week, a new lady moved into Tomisin’s apartment, someone referred her to her and she
moved in, the week after the wedding ceremony, the landlord paid a visit surprisingly.

Sister Peace, which time you self go marry, all your friends always leave you and go, see small
Tomisin, she did not even spend a year, Sir I do not appreciate you privy into my matters, the
contract we have is tenancy agreement and any other thing doesn’t concern you.

I and some of the youth leaders was to represent our youth in a program in a youth conference
this weekend.

The program was like a workshop for leaders in the church and to my surprise some persons
recognized me, You are Peace D the Christian tik-toker, wow!!, I am one of your fans and I am
super excited to finally meet you, you have indeed been a blessing to me.

Lot of ladies coming to celebrate me and even I was asked to sit with the ministers during the
conference, I was glad I attended, the meeting was power packed and I also met with lot of
persons that supported my movement and I was asked to take a session in the program.

We returned very early, Sunday morning and when I got home, my house had become a club
house, I met different ladies and guys all drunk and I was really upset.

I entered my room prepared for service and when I got back, the whole place was cleared, babe
am sorry for earlier, it was my birthday and I decided to throw a small party, Sheila said

It’s fine, I kept your pizza in the fridge, ok thank you, I did not want to eat it before, but i just felt
the pressing to do it, I ignored it and I started having cravings for pizza, I tried placing order, but
my plug was not during delivery that Sunday.

So, I decided to bless and eat it, while I was eating, Sheila came to the dining, Wow!!!, I thought
you won’t eat it, I think I like you already, if it’s some Christian people when, they will say they
can’t eat a sinners food, she said

Lol, please join me, I said and she did eat and was bringing up different conversations while I just
answered briefly, Sheila I have to go and sleep am on night duty, I said to her when I was done
eating , ok no problem.

Not really because I wanted to sleep, but I was not comfortable with her around me, I thought
you agreed, she is here for a purpose, the Holyspirit said to me and I nodded in the affirmative,
so why are you not utilizing the time you have with her for meaningful conversation that will make
her hungry for more, instead you avoid her.He said to me.
I am not avoiding her, I am only trying to play save, Ehn ehn, now bring out your bible, and open
Luke 19:1–10, a popular story of Zacchaeus. When Jesus entered Jericho and was passing
through. And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and was
rich. And he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not,
because he was small in stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see
him, for he was about to pass that way

This man was rich but still wanted to seek Jesus, but he could not because of the crowd, this
your flatmate wants to meet with Jesus, but she is in the crowd, following the multitude and very
difficult for her to pull out, and you are the only one closest to Jesus that can pull her out, you
are the sycamore tree she needs to have contact with to enable Jesus see her.

Let’s continue the scripture, And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him,
“Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” So he hurried and came
down and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all grumbled, “He has gone in to be
the guest of a man who is a sinner.” And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord,
the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it
fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son
of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

He was a sinner but Jesus had to show that he did not condemn him, that was why he dined with
him and he took advantage of that moment, to teach the goodnews, and Zacchaeus was moved
by this act of his, and was saved, he restituted his ways.

If Jesus had ignored Zacchaeus because he was a sinner, he would not have been saved, in as
much as you play safe and do not want to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever you should also
be willing to bring them to Christ.

She is here for a purpose, do you think she cannot afford a whole flat or wait for her personal
space, this was Gods plan and an opportunity for her to come to the kingdom, don’t let it pass
away. the HolySpirit said.

And after this conversation, I thought about it again and I felt this strong fire in my spirit and I
muttered in tongues and prayed, Lord help me to do that which you have called and assigned me
to do.

EPISODE 11

So I started with having my morning devotion daily in the living room, since I was good in playing
keyboard and I have one, so I started using it for 10mins worship daily and studying of the
scripture.
One day she was watching a movie, so I sat down with her to watch it, and we got talking, I
admire you a lot Peace, at first I thought you would be like all those religious people that will
condemn or criticise people, but you are different, Sheila said

Christ did not come to condemn the world but through him that the world will be saved , so who
am I to condemn anyone, I was also imperfect, filled with blames and spot, but he found me, I
said.

Wow!!!

I started having my devotions in the sitting room, since I was good at playing keyboards, so I
played it for worship 10minutes daily and then pray and study the scripture and this went on from
2 months and to my surprise she joined me one morning.

And that was how we started devotions together, until one evening, do you know why I joined the
devotion Sheila asked, and I said no, my mom use to love it and made it compulsory for us all ,
even on her sick bed, she would still call my brother to gather us for devotion.

Until her last breath, which was even few minutes before we ended the devotion, she preached
to us that morning, this same message you preached this morning, Never give up, but sadly I
gave up.

She said, Why does God allow hardship, injustice and adversity? Even Christians sometimes
struggle with this question. While we may not always understand the “why,” the Bible shows us
how we can build a strong faith in God and know that He will walk with us through every difficulty
we face.

One of the things we need to remember is that God is God in the good times and in the bad
times, whether we are on the top of the mountain or in the deepest valley. As God spoke to
Joshua, He also says to us today: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid…for
the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you”
(Deuteronomy 31:6).

You see, success doesn’t come from the absence of problems; it comes from the presence of
the One who goes through them with you, I might not be with you throughout this season, but we
have one who never gives up, one who will be there and be our constant backup in the time of
need.

She called each of us, Dennis, Mirabel and Sheila don’t give up on God, till we meet again and
she gave up the ghost.
I was barely 10 then, it was really a hard period for us, my elder brother gained admission
remaining me and Mirabel, my dad was always busy, so he was advised to remarry.

But things changed immediately Mirabel gained admission to the university, I felt alone, and I just
needed a lot of company to keep me happy, especially when my step mother was not helping
matters, she acted like I was invisible, no cautioning, no training.

I was not always like this, this is how I coped, and when my siblings came back from school, they
could not caution me, I became wilder and wilder, seeking relevance from peers and spending on
them. She explained.

Wow!!!, I exclaimed, I don’t know why I am telling you this, is all right Sheila, I sat closer to her
and pull her for a hug, it’s not too late, Jesus is here now, I am here now, the body of Christ is
here now.

Hmmm, I am not yet ready for that, she said suddenly, pls excuse me and went into her room, I
tried knocking but she refused to answer, so I decided to give her time to calm down.

I had a new friend, I met at the Youth Conference, Chris, we have become so close , we spend
times calling and chatting and i kept hoping he would ask me out, like he was my kind of man,
Tall, Fair skinned, a bit muscular, Godly and loving.

WHAT ABOUT YOU

I had a new friend, I met at the Youth, Chris, we have become so close , we spend times calling
and chatting and i kept hoping he would ask me out, like he was my kind of man, Tall, Fair
skinned, a bit muscular, Godly and loving.

I was still praying for Sheila, I sincerely want her to be on track and get back with her first love, I
understand the fact that she felt alone and now, I just want her to know God is with her.

Finally, Chris asked me out and I willingly said yes without seeking the consent of the Holyspirit
and anytime bathe Holyspirit wants to speak on the issue, I stifle it.

There are some guys you see, you don’t need confirmation, they fit into you, they are just your
perfect match, I said to myself.
He was also staying in lag and we started meeting up several times, we started from restaurants
and before I knew it, I started visiting him, likewise him and we also exchanged our spare keys.

And after a week she started joining the devotion again, thank you Sister Peace, Like this few
days was just a set apart to reminisce about all that has been going on in my life.

And I realised the peace I had when I joined the devotion that period, though I have done a lot of
things and thanks for listening to me, it was therapeutic, she said.

I am glad I listened to you, I said with a smile, but don’t you think, I not worthy to be called Gods
own again, I am not worthy to be among this peculiar nation and chosen people again, I have
done a lot of terrible things.

I started having se* at 13 and I was introduced to abortio*, I smoked , I drank ,I have done so
many dirty things I can’t say , I have had s** with multiple guys at the same time in the name of
exploring and fantasy.

I don’t know if am still fit to be accepted in this kingdom, even if I am considered, how do I stop, I
have done this for the past 13 years and gotten so use to it, she said.

Sheila, Jesus did not come to the world to condemn, he came so you can be saved. No matter
who we are or what we have done, God offers us forgiveness in Christ freely and fully.

The Bible says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and
purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)

With these three stories, Jesus wants to make us understand that God the Father is the first one
to have a welcoming and merciful attitude toward sinners.

In the first parable, God is presented as a shepherd who leaves 99 sheep to go look for the one
that is lost.

In the second, he is compared to a woman who has lost a coin and searches until she’s found it.

In the third parable, God is imagined as a father who welcomes the son who had distanced
himself; the figure of the father reveals the heart of a merciful God, manifested in Jesus.

His hands are always open to receive us, even if our sin is as red as scarlet, he is willing to make
it as white as snow and give us a fresh start.

When he embraces us, he forgives us, and he loses the memory. He doesn't have the memory of
our wrongs. He forgets the past.

1Cor 5:17-Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.

Sheila God loves you, and when we were yet sinners Christ died for us, and there will be
celebration in heaven over you, if you surrender all to him.

And I am sure he will help you, as you walk with him, as you lean on him, he will take your
weakness and exchange it for his strength.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus, I said.

I want to, this life is full of pains, I have treated so many infections, I have ki*led indirectly via
ab*rtion, I have tested so many things, wasted funds on drinks and yet I don’t have peace of
mind, she said.

The prince of peace is here to give you the peace that surpasses all understanding, say this
words after me, I led her to Christ and she began a new life in Christ Jesus.

EPISODE 13

I started helping her with her studying the word, and I also introduced her to the church and in
few month, she yielded positive results.

I started my relationship with Chris and everything was going on fine until I visited him at home
one day, and he started touching me inappropriately, Brother Chris stop this, we can’t do this
now.

But why babe ?, I really want you, it’s been 3 month already and it’s very difficult to stay away
from this beauty, I understand Chris but we must not build our marriage on the wrong foundation.

Marriage is still far, all this counselling in church and all before the wedding, I just wish… he was

Fifty thousand naira, ok I will go and deposit, when her son comes he would settle it, so we
started treatment and she was stabilised a little, though still unconscious.

The next day her child was still not reachable anymore money was needed, I still paid hoping her
child will be reachable, I just felt the leading to be of help to her.

Few days later, I visited Lucy and her baby with baby clothes , congratulations Lucy I am very
happy for you, my dear do quick and join us. Very soon, my dear, I have to go now.

Chris started misbehaving after that day and I reduced my going to his place, so I decided to pay
him a surprise visit one day and I met the shock of my life.

I met him at home, babe i greeted immediately I entered, what are you doing here, I don’t
understand, do I not visit you anytime before, babe is that the delivery guy, a voice said.

Daddy Daddy , three children came to him, and I was surprised, and who is this the woman

voice said, and I kept crying, I thought he was good since I met him in the house of God, I felt he
was perfect, I replied

You thought he was perfect, are your thoughts the thoughts of God, neither are your ways his
ways, because he was in church doesn’t mean he is the right person.
The church is not a museum of saints, but a hospital for sinners, is like an hospital containing
different people with different ailment.

Jesus answered them, 'Healthy people don't need a doctor sick people do. I have come to call
not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to
repent'" (Luke 5:31-32).

So that you met in church is not a guarantee that he is genuinely saved, Lord am sorry, I am
sorry, I was scared of you saying no about him, forgetting that you know everything from the very
beginning.

I just wanted to try and do it my way and now I hurt terribly, I cried and worship God until I dosed
off.

EPISODE 14

I got an inspiration to make a short message from what I just experienced, using Proverb 3:5-
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

No matter how intelligent you think you are, you cannot lean on your understanding in any
situation, you must never remove the God factor, you can do all things only with God who
strengthens you.

In whatever decision you take, seek God first, let him approve it, listen to his opinion first, he
knows best, our eyes is restricted to now and only what he decides to reveal to us.

But he is knows everything from the very beginning, he is with us now and even still present in
the future, that you speak in tongues, can pray 24hours stretch doesn’t guarantee that you know
all things or the heart of God.

I posted the video, that was even when I new I have 2,000 likes already and followers on my page
and I was wowed by it and it encouraged me to do more.

So I went to work that afternoon and Mama was out of coma, I checked up on her , Mama how
are you doing, she nodded, ok I bought fruits for you, please let me help you up so you can eat.

I sat her up and gave her the fruits as she ate a few of it, thank you, Nurse, what is your name,
she said slowly, I am Peace ma, ok Nurse Peace thank you very much.
One more question, have you seen my son, no we have been trying to reach him ma, oh where is
my phone she asked, let me ask the matron ma, I went to meet the matron and she handed over
the phone to me.

Nurse Peace,is this woman your mother or step mother, she said as she gave me the phone, the
battery was very low, so I charged it before handing it over to her.

Please search for my baby boy, the other one with my son is not going through again and I was
just smiling, no one thought an old woman will save her son’s number like that.

I dialled the number and he picked Instantly, Mummy good afternoon, I have been trying to reach
you but to no avail, how are you?, Sir , this is nurse Peace from The glory reign Hospital, your
mum has been in the hospital for a week and a few days now.

What? , and no one called me, we tried sir, but the line we had was unreachable, ok thank God, I
came for a meeting in Ibadan, I will be on my way soon, he said.

After the call, I gave her phone back, thank you nurse, I want to relax a little, she said and I
assisted her before returning to the nurse station,I was on double shift, one of the nurses had an
emergency and begged me to stand in for her.

Her son got to the hospital by 6:00pm, good evening nurse, good evening sir, a lady was at his
back chewing gum, I got a call that my mom is here, I am Louis, Mrs Adegbola’s son, oh ok, am
sorr I came late, the hold up in Lagos is really crazy.

It’s fine sir, I ushered them into the room, Mama was awake, she was taking pap and vegetables,
mummy, he hugged her, I am sorry I couldn’t come on time, it’s fine dear.

Thank God for this nurse, she has been taking good care of me, thank you for taking care of her,
so how far the bills, he asked, I was able to loan you some, so the treatment could commence, so
we would have to go to the cashier, I explained to him.

Ok can you take me there please, ok sir, babe let me also tag along, there is no need, you stay
with my mom, he said.

when I entered, I was so tired, but I just managed to join, she ministered that morning and I was
impressed.

Then I took a shower and jumped on my bed to relax.

EPISODE 15

When I got up, I was just having butterflies in my belly for Louis, I kind of like him, but I guess he
is taken, so I kept my mind occupy, I went to Sheila , so we could talk.

Sister, I have been having this leading to start an outreach, reach out to orphans and less
privileged, using my experience and the word of God to minister to them, loneliness is bad, we
need to start inculcating in them right from now.

Train up a child, in the way he should go, so that when he grows, he will not depart from it, they
need to know that they are not alone, Jesus is with them and has equipped them with all they
need to stand firm in this perilous time.

And how necessary it is to work with the wise, so that they would not be destroyed, she expla
and I was impressed, in as much as I love what you want ant to do, you still need to attain a level
of growth.

You need to submit under a mentor and be groomed and prepared for the outside world, you
need to prepare and be processed before emerging, i said to her

has for us also, though it was still Friday, then I got a call from an unknown number.

It was Mrs Adegbola, Nurse Peace, I hope you are fine, I don’t know if you can come and have
dinner with us at my place on Saturday evening , Just my way of saying thank you, she said.

When I got into the reception, I met this beautiful nurse and my heart leaped for Joy, I introduced

I don’t know why I just had to say it, at least I would have sorted out other things, I went to Abuja
the next morning via flight with Elena and we literally did not speak to each other.

A week after, Elena came to my house with peace offering, she brought food and drinks, Elena,
there is no need for this, I have spent the last one week thinking of us and the truth is it can’t
work.

I thought he meant what I was doing, when he told me he loved me until I saw it in his eyes, how

messages for a few days, but no response and he eventually stopped until Elena showed up at
my work place and started ranting.

Elena I don’t understand you, see I don’t know what you are talking about, she kept shouting and
I just walked into the nurse station and when she was tired, she left.

When I got home, I met her at my entrance, Sheila refused to open the door for her, and she kept
ranting and I got so angry, Elena will you just be quiet, I shouted at her angrily.

We often view anger as an emotion we should avoid, a sin. But our anger isn’t the problem, it’s

There are things in this world that should make us angry. We should be outraged by the

I think I met the Prince of Peace and I understand my place as a woman on earth, I am a valuable,
I can’t keep forcing myself around a man, but I will let a man find me, a man that is ready to
obtain favor from God, Prov 18:22

And I also have a confession before I go, I met Peace last week, I went to her place of work to
cause trouble then to her house and she told me some plain fact and truth that made me cry and
rethink.

I kept scrolling on Instagram when I saw one of her message, I watched one and then clicked
some other ones, I don’t understand why I was engrossed, I repeated some once or twice and I
had an encounter with the light that changed me and I rededicated my life to Christ.
Then I paid her a visit and she encouraged me a lot, Peace is really good woman, and I know
you like her, go for her, don’t let her go off your hands, she will fit into your purpose, she said.

Wow!!!, you went that length to fight for me, I asked finding it unbelievable, then she laughed,
yes when I was not wise, but now I know better, thank you for everything, I have to go now.

Thank you so much Elena, you are a wonderful woman and I know God will give you the best,
thank you for loving me all this years, overlooking my shortcomings and all the sacrifices you
made towards me, am sorry I couldn’t treat you like a queen you are, I said soberly

I got busy with work, my assignments and all, and I even got invite in a church to minister to their
teens on a theme: KNOWING YOUR IDENTITY.

Knowing our authority and dominion in Christ Jesus makes us aware of whom we are in Him.
Embracing the authority that is in Jesus reveals to us what our true identity is in Him.

Our identity in Christ is a function of our relationship with Him. Your identity in Christ is not
based on education, economic worth or social status, but your relationship with Him. Those who
know their God intimately are marked out for exploits. DANIEL says, “But the people who know
their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits” (Dan.11: 32).

Don’t accept Satan’s narrative of who you are. Although Satan tries to redefine your identity, but
it is what God says and what the word of God says about you that counts. Don’t even allow the
world or the society define who you are.

Victory In Christ Jesus

Paul writes in 1 Cor. 15:57, “thanks be to God who has given us the victory in Christ Jesus.” In
Christ, the believer has got the victory. Jesus got our victory on the cross, where He defeated
Satan and took the keys of Hades and Death. In Christ, we have victory over sin, poverty, satanic
curses, diseases, sickness, fear, etc. In Christ, we have total victory, not a partial one. This is the
ground on which our faith stands. This is where we are now. Jesus’ victory is the basis of our
authority over the Devil and his cohorts.
anding then on this victory, we ought to go unto higher grounds of victory. We move from victory
to victory, from strength to strength, from grace to grace and from power to power. Romans 8:37
says, “…Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him, Who loved us.” The
victory we have in Christ makes us more than conquerors.

Our ability to reign in life as sons of God is based on the victory of Jesus on the cross. To be able
to reign we must recognise who we are in Christ.

David was able to defeat Goliath because he realised who he was in God. Saul and his army did
not know the God of Israel like David did. Realising who he was in God, and the authority he had
in the name of God, David moved against Goliath in the name of the Lord (1 Sam.17: 45).

Knowing your identity in Christ affects the way you think and behave. Conversely, if you don’t
know who you are in Christ, it will affect your thinking and behaviour.

Paul in Gal.4: 1-7 wrote to remind the Galatians that they were no longer slaves, but sons in
Christ Jesus. As sons, their position and authority were different from slaves. A slave has a
different mindset and status from a son. A son is an heir to the throne.

Gideon’s attitude changed once the angel of God called him “a mighty man of valour” and urged
him to go in his strength (Judges 6: 14). Before then, he thought he was a weakling. He lived in
fear of the Midianites. But the angel made him realise that his ‘little’ strength amounted to much
in God.

What God says we are is written in the Bible. The Bible says:
I am now a new creature (1 Cor.5: 17).
I am seated at his right hand in the heavenly places (Eph.2: 5-6).
I am called to reign in life (Rom.5: 17).
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me (Phil.4: 13).

It was a beautiful time with the teens and I enjoyed my time in presence of God, Mrs Adegbola

Louis POV

I got a mail from a company I work with in Lagos, a long awaited contract was awarded and I will
have to be in Lagos before Monday, so I called Elena so we could have our dinner and she
honored the invite.
I just want to get that done, before I go to Lagos, because I don’t know how long the project will
last, You look really beautiful, I commented her and she smiled, thanks Louis, and thank you for
coming.

We talked and laughed as we ate and i informed her, I will be in Lagos for sometime for a
business contract, oh that’s nice, take good care of yourself, she said with a beautiful smile.

Elena’s POV

After the conversation I had with Peace, I had this inner peace and I kept on watching her videos
and I became a very big fan of her, I planned to get her a gift to boost the quality of her video for
Christmas, just my way of saying thank you for this impact.

Louis chatted me for the dinner and I honored the invite, I went there with so much prestige and I
saw the way he treated me, much more different, I felt at peace with myself as we talked and
laughed and he informed me about his contract in Lagos and I was genuinely happy for him.

I promise Mrs Adegbola, I would see her on Sunday, I am not in Lagos currently ma, I told her and
she was happy, I can’t wait to see you.

So, on Sunday,after church, I went to her place, she welcomed me with a warm hug, I also went
with my sphygmomanometer and stethoscope to check her Bp and I was impressed, it’s back to
normal now 130/80 , I said to her.

I have been taking my drugs and having enough rest, she said , I prepared ofada rice and sauce
with plenty assorted just for you, ma’am you shouldn’t have stressed yourself ma, I invited you
over and it’s not bad having lunch together, she said.

Ah ma, I won’t even take no for an answer, she said as she stood up to set the table, so I joined
her, before we got interrupted by the knock on the door.

relocated abroad with her husband, so we just did video call, this baby looks really handsome.

In due season, we will come and celebrate with you, I will travel down to Nigeria, she said and I
said Amen, I prayed with her , my regards to hubby, I said before ending the conversation.

Shortly after ending the call, I heard a knock on the door and at the same time Louis was calling
me, hello my queen he said and I smile, hi my king, I said opening the door, am sure you have
gotten the delivery, he said.

I just thought it wise to order a food tray for you and to tell you how much I love you, and even
distance is not a barrier, he said and I was blushing, as I collected the order and said thank you
to the delivery guy.

Thank you dear, I appreciate, but you are making me lazy now, when I decide not to cook in
marriage, I hope you will still place order, I said , anything for my queen, I don’t even mind
cooking for you.

We talked for a while and then the conversation ended, I attended the singles vigil for the end of
the month and they where surprised to see me, i danced like I use to dance and also prayed and
left as early as possible in the morning, to avoid questioning.

Elena called me few days after to thank me again, Sister Peace, God bless the day we met, she

Though we still have some that was compulsory we attended together, I was even surprised of
how fast it was going, like I was thinking we will court for a year before we started talking about
marriage, but to my surprise, just 3 months.

He started talking of settling down, I was the one who even insisted on 6months marriage
counselling, we would inform our parents about it, then start our counseling, then from there we
will fix in when we meet each other’s parent and than introduction and other necessary things.

I was on my way to work one morning, when I got a call from Lucy, Peace am in trouble, please
help me, Lucy let me call you back, I am driving, I said ending the call, yes I have a car now,
courtesy lover boy Louis.

So when I got to the hospital, I entered one of the empty ward to call Lucy, Lucy how are you?, I
said.

Am not fine Peace, am not, what of the baby, he is fine, your husband?, hmmm he is fine, she
said, so what is it, this man has scammed me, she said.

she said she was coming and my phone is on silent.

I feel so pained, like this scars in my heart are so big, since Joseph took me to that house, he has
never called nor checked up on me.

Lucy, this is not a time to blame yourself, but to seek for forgiveness and retrace your steps to
God, this is the first step to freedom and she gave her life to God again that evening in tears.

It was already 9pm, when we finished, but she insisted on going home, because of her baby, I will

Lucy’s POV

Immediately I got home, I breastfed my baby and put her to sleep , then I shut the door, I just
wanted to cry to God, that was when I realised how long it has been since I prayed, fellowship or
commune with God.

But after Peace prayed with me, I just felt an empty space in my heart, that needed to be filled, i
literally cried from her house home and as soon as I got home, I did what was necessary.

That night, I couldn’t pray, all I did was cry to my father, I cried to the extent my eyes was swollen
in the morning as I could barely sleep, I realised how I left grace to grass, i thought of how
beautiful my life was with God and when I left him.

I thought of how I messed up, sleeping with different guys and even having multiple se*ual
partners at a time, just because of marriage, and now I had fallen into one chance.

I made marriage my priority and not God, I thought my life would be complete with a man, but
that was not the case, I got scars with a man, I got up that morning, bath my baby and released
her to play with the other women children, so I could have time for myself.

That morning, all I could ask God was mercy and a new start, Lord I know, i do not deserve it, I do
not worth it, but please Lord, I prayed till I dosed off and I had a dream.

Welcome back my daughter, it is time to leave your past, and hold on to the future I have for you,
but before I can give you your inheritance, you need to restitute your ways.

Restitution is an act of putting right what has been done wrongly, restoring what has been taken
wrongly and repairing or giving any equivalent to loss or damage. This is a very important step
for every believer for a clear conscience and good testimony.

So my dad and the elders went to his family Ayo return the bride price, on my own part of

The other two, one agreed to give me clothes in few quantities on credit and if you do well, I will
give you more, the other gave me shoes on credits too, and in five months, I was doing better, I
was able to cater for my daughters daughter and even pay her school fees.

Sheila started are outreach and it was wonderful, she was getting supporters and also sponsors.

I got a Christmas gifts from Elena to my surprise, I excitedly open the pack and I saw a phone
vlog video kit with height adjustable and a video making kit microphone, I was super happy.
Yes I really needed it, I was planning on getting one, but it kept skipping my mind, so God had
sorted it out, then an envelope dropped while I was packing the carton, lo and behold, Elena’s
wedding invitation.

I quickly dialled her number, congratulating her and saying thank you, the wedding was slated for
June the following year, and mine was in March.

Finally, we did the official introduction, My daughter thank God my son met you, Mrs Adegbola
said as she hugged me, then his family came to my family for a formal introduction.

And after the whole stuff, they approved the day we chose, the last weekend in March for the
wedding, we also use that period for the physical counselling.

On Sunday, the pastor officially announced the wedding, we have good news church

We have a wedding to plan church, the church screams out loud, Eph.5.31 - For this cause shall a

flesh. Our very own Youth secretary and singles prayer coordinator, in person of Sister Peace
Oluwatofunmi Alade is getting married.

Wow!!!, the church was screaming loud and happy, I was surprised the pastor did not know I was
no longer, the singles prayer cord,I decided to keep mute about it for now.

Some persons came to hug me, and for 10minutes, the church atmosphere changed, there was
so much Joy in the church, the date is March 26th, the pastor continued after the noise reduced.

It is our wedding, please let’s turn up massively, let’s support our very own, there are materials
for asoebi, we have lace and Ankara, but according to your capacity.

The service continued and after the service, the church secretary told me the materials I brought
to church had finished , and some persons even paid down.
The news travelled far and some of our members who got married and relocated started calling,
some sent support , some paid for materials and said they would attend.

One of the single sister, volunteered to do 100copies of jotter for free, the following weekend our
wedding photo shoot was ready and I could see our picture all over, with lots of loving caption
that made me laugh and cried and grateful to God.

Fred called me, Congratulations Peace, I am super happy for you, you are finally off the market, I
am still lonely tho, he laughed and I laughed too, I was a fool to have lost you to another man,
though it’s too late to get you back , but I know hopefully one day, I wil meet her.

Wow!!!!, thanks a lot Fred, I told my husband to be about it, that’s awesome, I forwarded my
account number to him and within a short period I got the alert.

That evening, I saw Chris message also, confessing and apologising for what he did, I just
wanted to prove a point that women can be manipulated when they fall in love, but you were
different and meeting you made me re-evaluate my life.

Fastforward to the wedding, I literally did not spend a dime for the wedding from my pocket, God
supplied all my needs in a miraculous way.

We wanted something simple and small, but we had to change plans, it was classic, big and also
the power of God was evidence in our midst, I prayed into the brocade and shared it for every

Tomisin and her husband travelled down to Nigeria for the wedding, Elena came with her fiancée,
Sheila and Lucy where very helpful throughout the period.

And Sheila got her proposal right in the wedding,God was glorified.. we travelled out for the
honeymoon and when we came back, our apartment in Lagos was ready and fully furnished.

Three years into this beautiful journey of forever with Louis, we have been blessed with two kids,
a boy and a girl Charis and Karissa. i have enjoyed increase on all side, yes we had tough times,
but with God in this boat, we have pulled through.

I had an invite to minister in a global single and married summit, and my husband drove me to the
venue and was there throughout the ministration.

Marriage does not complete a man, but a stepping up to a higher ground, who you marry is a
determinant on how far you will go in life.

We have heard of many firebrands sisters that when they got married, they became a shadow of
themselves and some in who they married push them to be a better person.

Same with men, there are women that are also fire extinguishers, they frustrate you till the fire
goes off and they are women that can also fan your flames into fire .

I am happy, I waited for the perfect will of God, Habakkuk 2:3-For the vision is yet for an
appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will
surely come, it will not tarry.

Yes sometimes it might me slow,but he is sure, God doesn’t fail his own, wait for it, yes you, I
mean you, wait for it, that all your mates are married with kids and yet no man is coming and it
looks like you are under a spell, or you feel someone is doing you, no one is doing you.

Life is in time and season, some arrive at their Season very early, some intermediately and some
late, the difference between you and that person you sat together receiving classes in secondary
school is time and now he is in finals and you are still writing jamb.

You did not create yourself, so you can’t know your timing or season, but only the creator ‘God’
knows all, he knows the end from the very beginning. Dan 2:21-And he changeth the times and
the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and
knowledge to them that know understanding.

A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure, there are steps
that you might be right but It’s nit just the right time, let God be the one in charge, Remember in
Rom 8:28-And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.

All God as said concerning you shall come to pass, keep pushing in faith, don’t give up, in Gods
world, there is still time, time as not gone, time is still on your side, because God is the one in
charge of times and season.

You must be spiritually alert, let the eyes of your understanding be enlightened even in your wait,
so you will know what God is saying par time, that was what kept me, there were times I broke
down in tears, wanted to give up but God came through.

I prayed for many persons to get married and God answered them, I kept asking God what about
me??, there were pressure, doubts but his words were there as my back up, and even till now, his
words are still speaking in my life.

You can’t enjoy life without proper fellowshipping with God via his word, faith and prayers, that is
the weapon to be on the winning side.

Let’s sing this worship song as my husband, the love of my life, my crown, the one that has given
me wings to fly and do that which I was called to do, comes to round off this session.

Indeed it pays to listen to God, to trust in him and not to lean on our own understanding, I am
