Title: Network Design Proposal for HP construction P.L.C
Introduction

Welcome to HP Construction P.L.C Company's network design proposal. In an era where

seamless communication, efficient collaboration, and robust data management are critical
components of success, HP Construction P.L.C Company recognizes the paramount importance
of establishing a modern, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure. As a leading provider in
the construction industry, HP Construction P.L.C Company is committed to leveraging cutting
edge technology to stream. This proposal outlines our strategic approach to designing and
implementing a modern, scalable network tailored to company's unique needs and objectives.
Current infrastructure over view

HP Construction P.L.C Company does not have an established networking infrastructure in

place. The absence of a structured network framework poses significant challenges to the
company's operations, communication, and data management processes.

In the absence of a dedicated network infrastructure, the company likely relies such as
standalone routers or consumer-grade networking equipment, to facilitate basic connectivity.
However, these makeshift arrangements are inadequate for supporting the demands of a modern
construction business, which requires seamless communication, collaboration, and resource
sharing across various departments, job sites, and project teams.

The absence of a networking infrastructure represents a significant gap in HP Construction P.L.C

Company's technology infrastructure, impeding its ability to achieve operational efficiency,
scalability, and competitiveness in today's digital landscape. Addressing this deficiency through
the implementation of a robust and scalable network architecture is paramount to unlocking the
company's full potential and positioning it for sustainable growth and success in the construction
industry.

Goals and Objectives

These goals and objectives aim to provide a strategic framework for the Company's network
design initiative, aligning with the company's overarching business objectives and priorities.

Enhance Connectivity: Establish a reliable and high-speed network infrastructure to ensure

seamless connectivity among employees, job sites, and project teams, enabling real-time
communication and collaboration.

Improve Data Accessibility: Facilitate centralized access to project documents, blueprints,

schedules, and other critical data, allowing employees to retrieve information quickly and
efficiently from any location.

Enhance Security: Implement robust security measures, including firewalls, encryption

protocols, access controls, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard sensitive company data
and protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Facilitate Scalability: Design a network infrastructure that can scale seamlessly to
accommodate the company's evolving needs, including the addition of new users, devices,
applications, and project sites, without compromising performance or security.

Enhance Disaster Recovery: Establish robust backup and disaster recovery mechanisms to
ensure data integrity and minimize downtime in the event of network failures, natural disasters,
or cybersecurity incidents.

Provide Training and Support: Offer comprehensive training programs and ongoing technical
support to empower employees to utilize the network effectively, troubleshoot common issues,
and adhere to best practices for network security and performance optimization.

Network Architecture proposal

Core Infrastructure: Implement a robust core network with redundant components for high
availability and fault tolerance.

 Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series switch for core switching.

 Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewall for perimeter security.
 Cisco ISR 4000 Series Integrated Services Router for WAN connectivity.
LAN (Local Area Network: Deploy a structured cabling system to connect all devices within
the premises. Utilize Ethernet switches for local traffic management and VLANs for
segmentation.

 Ethernet cabling (Cat6a) for wired connectivity.

 Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches for access layer switching.
Wireless Network: Implement a secure Wi-Fi infrastructure to provide connectivity across the
construction site and office premises.

 Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Pro Wireless Access Points for Wi-Fi coverage.

Internet Connectivity: Fiber optic internet service with redundancy options for reliable internet
access.

Network Security:

 Intrusion Detection/Prevention System (IDPS) for threat detection.

 Antivirus software for endpoint protection.
Unified Communication:

 Video Conferencing Solutions - Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Data Backup and Recovery:

 Network Attached Storage (NAS) for centralized data storage.

 Backup software like Veeam Backup & Replication for data protection

Implementation Plan

 Develop a phased deployment plan considering each floor separately.

 Coordinate installation activities, including cabling, hardware deployment, and configuration.

 Conduct thorough testing and validation of the network infrastructure on each floor before
proceeding to the next phase.

 Provide user training sessions to ensure employees are proficient in utilizing the new network
resources.

Maintenance and Support

Offer ongoing

- Monitoring,
- maintenance, and
- Technical support services.
Conduct regular performance assessments and apply necessary updates to optimize network
efficiency and security.

Ensure 24/7 availability of support for any critical incidents or emergencies.

Cost Estimates

A detailed cost estimate will be provided, covering hardware, software, installation,

configuration, and ongoing maintenance/support services. This will help HP Construction P.L.C
Company make informed decisions regarding budget allocation and resource allocation for the
network architecture project.
