    Dear Aspiring Rukminians
    Trail towards the promising year of knowledge sanguinely and engage yourself
    constructively with the given Winter Break Assignment.
    “Wishing the students relaxing holidays and a Happy New Year”
    Details of the Winter Break Assignment are as follows:

    The learner will be able to:

    English:
    LO: Write a ‘mini biography’ and ‘mini autobiography in order to
    distinguish between the two and demonstrate creative usage of
    language.

    Mathematics:
    LO 1: Explore ideas of angles and shapes :
    classify angles into right angle, acute angle, obtuse angle and knows
    its measurement.
    LO 2: Explore ideas of angles and shapes: identify 2D shapes from
    Learning the immediate environment that have rotation and reflection
    Outcomes symmetry like alphabet and shapes.
    Science:
    LO: Create posters, designs, models, set ups, local dishes, sketches,
    maps (of neighborhood /different places visited) using a variety of
    local /waste material and write poems / slogans / travelogue etc. in
    order to demonstrate creativity and reflection skills.

    Hindi:
    LO : अपने आस-पास घटने वाली ववविन्न घटनाओं की बारीवकय ं पर ध्यान दे ते हुए उन
    पर मैखिक रूप से अपनी प्रवतविया व्यक्त करते हैं /प्रश्न पूछते हैं ।
    Social Science:
    LO : Create posters, designs, models, set ups, local dishes, sketches, maps (of
    neighborhood /different places visited) using a variety of local /waste material
    and write poems / slogans / travelogue etc. in order to demonstrate creativity
    and reflection skills.

    Spanish:
    LO: Identify the verbs and understand the meaning with the given context.

    Science ● Students will make a model of a sundial and explain by
    demonstrating its working in the classroom in front of his/her classmates.

    Students will draw a map of their own house on a chart paper. Write proper

    English Craft an autobiography that tells the story of your life, begin with early childhood

    Social Science Create a Digital Travel Brochure of a Country

    Travel Brochure is a guide that provides detailed information about a particular


    place to a person who intends to visit the place. Travel Brochures are a great way
    of presenting research on a travel destination, in an organized manner by
    describing the location, the culture and all the important details and relevant facts
    about the place, replete with illustrations, drawings, pictures, photographs and
    maps.

    Prepare a digital brochure with travel information of the country given as per your
    roll no.

    The brochure must have the following information:
