The Barangay is the basic political unit of the Philippine Society, as such, it serves as the
primary planning and implementing unit of government policies, plans and activities.
As a local government unit, barangay is mandated to provide basic services to promote the
over-all development of the community and its people. But because most rural communities do
not have the financial capability to implement the identified demand driven program and
projects, there is a need to prioritize the projects in order to maximize the utilization of limited
funds.
First of all, we are very thankful to GOD Almighty who is the most generous and merciful.
I also take the opportunity to express a deep sense of gratitude to all the Barangay
employees of Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Anislagan for their untiring support
and willingness to spend some time with us to fill in the questioners.
Last but not the least, we would like to express our gratitude to our friends and
respondents, facilitators and for the accommodations given to us.
As the Punong Barangay of Anislagan, Nabunturan, Davao De Oro, it has been my desire to
come up with a comprehensive barangay development plan that serves as a guide in reaching
towards our vision, mission and goals.
I enjoin the barangay residents in particular to maintain the spirit of active participation in the
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the projects in our development plan. To the
Sangguniang Barangay, your commitment and support to this endeavor is our inspiration with all
hopes that being an official we will serve as the key in looking forward for a better solution to
the problems of the barangay. And to all our residents I am encouraging you to do your share
regardless of the position that we might be occupying for the betterment of our beloved barangay
ANISLAGAN for the years to come. With this, I take my please in conveying my heartfelt
felicitations to you my beloved for your usual support in this undertaking.
