General
1-1. Explanation
The 3-Cup Type Wind Tracker, wind speed and wind direction indicator offers
big performance in a compact display.
Wind speed is displayed in your choice of units: KNOTS, M/S. Maximum wind
speed is saved on the display until reset by the operator.
Wind direction information is clearly displayed on a circular compass pattern
of LEDs. Multicolored segments give a quick visual indication of current
direction and direction variability. Front panel brightness control allows
adjustment for best viewing in any light.
A variety of inputs and outputs including 4-20 mA and Serial (RS-485) are
standard on the Wind Tracker
The Wind display indicator are 144 Type(144mm x 144mm x 60mm) and
192 Type(192mm x 192mm x 110mm). 18-36 VDC power enables the Wind
Tracker to be powered by external batteries or AC/DC power supply. 10-36
VDC power enables the Transmitter to be powered by external batteries or
AC/DC power supply.

4-1. Operation
The red point on the top of the tube indicates the 0° position and should be orientated North or
Ship Head.
Wind speed is displayed in your choice of units : knots, m/s. Maximum wind speed
is saved on the display until reset by the operator. Wind direction information
is clearly displayed on a circular pattern of LEDs. Bold front panel graphics give
a quick indication of wind angle relative to vessel heading.

POWER SUPPLY
Connect the external input, output signals and the power source as follows.
- Connect Wind Direction and Wind Speed signal between TX+, TX-, RX+ and RX-
- T1+, T1-, T2+ and T2- output terminals of RS-485 signals.
- Terminal I1+ and I1- are 4~20mA Current signal for Wind Direction, Maximum
load 250 Ohm. Terminal I1+ is positive and I1- is negative
- Terminal I2+ and I2- are 4~20mA Current signal for Wind Speed, Maximum load
250 Ohm. Terminal I2+ is positive and I2- is negative
- Terminal Ext. VR 1, 2, and 3 are external dimming.
- Terminal FG is for frame ground, which should be connected to the hull, that is,
the mounting console of this Indicator
- Terminal +24V and 0V are for connecting the DC24V power source.

4. Method of use
Install the unit and connect the wires correctly, and then supply the power source of
DC24V.
- FUCT : When the button pressed, From m/s to knots or from knots to m/s
change. And when the button pressed 2seconds, Maximum wind value is
reset to Zero.
Example 1) Change from m/s to knots
