Documentum Administrator enables you to monitor, administer, configure, and maintain Documentum
servers, repositories, and federations located throughout your company from one system running a
web browser. The audience for Documentum Administrator consists of server administrators, Site
Caching Services administrators, Webtop administrators, Web Development Kit administrators,
Content Intelligence Services administrators, and taxonomy managers, IWS administrators, and
Content Transformation Services administrators. These are primarily experienced Documentum users
who generally install and configure Documentum products and perform administrative tasks, and
should have the following basic background knowledge:
The installation of Documentum Administrator provides default support for US English. Additional
language support is provided by using the language pack. A language pack is a language-specific file.
The language pack consists of a graphical user interface (GUI) and user documentation that has been
localized (translated) into a language other than the default language.
To add support for a particular language, the contents of a language pack must be installed to the
appropriate destinations within a product installation. Users can install one or more language packs
directly on top of the core product (US English).
The Supported environments and compatibility chapter in OpenText Documentum Administrator 21.2
Release Notes contains details about supported platforms, systems, and versions for Documentum
Administrator 21.2.

6 Fixed issues
6.1 Fixed issues in 21.3
There are no fixed issues in this release.
7 Known issues
The following known issues exist in this release.
DA-12193 When you click on any of the nodes under System Reports in DA deployed on
WildFly 19.x, it results in a null pointer exception.
Workaround: Perform the following tasks:
1. Move the log4j2.properties file from web-inf-classes.jar to
<application_root>/WEB-INF/classes.
DA-10251 The pop-up window displays a blank page when it loads the locator on Internet
Explorer 11. The issue is limited to the latest update of Internet Explorer 11,
version above 11.0.9431.181.
DA-9430 Documentum Administrator displays negative values for user-created file stores.
However, for the default file store (filestore_01), it displays the proper value.
On Linux platform, the change checker updates the dormancy status and
DA-9422
therefore, causes a delay (around 4-5 minutes) in correctly displaying certain
menus in Documentum Administrator, such as Make Active, Make Dormant,
Project Active Status to connection broker, and Project Dormant status to
connection broker. This is a limitation of Documentum Server on Linux platform.
If there are multiple applications deployed in the same application server and you
require to set the flag HttpOnly for WDK applications, then perform the following
steps:
DA-9225 Browser crash occurs with Firefox 17 when more than 15 windows or 20 tabs are
opened. This issue is more likely to occur if operations are launched through
automated scripts that open the Firefox browser windows or tabs.
DA-8932 If you add a primary or an HA connection broker entry in the dfc.properties file,
then on the server listing page only one connected server has a status of
Running. The remaining HA server has a status of Unknown.
If you connect through the HA server, then the HA server status is Running and
the primary server status in Unknown.
Workaround: To resolve this issue, add both primary and HA connection broker
entries in the dfc.properties file. The projection entries for both nodes in the
dfc.properties file are described below:
dfc.docbroker.host[X]=<docbroker host(primary)>
dfc.docbroker.port[X]=<docbroker port(primary)>
dfc.docbroker.host[X+1]=<docbroker host(HA)>
dfc.docbroker.port[X+1]=<docbroker port(HA)>
When the user tries to complete a workqueue task, the operation fails with an
DA-8823
error. This is because the model cache is not refreshed on deployment and
redeployment of the application. To resolve this issue, restart the application
server whenever the application is deployed/redeployed.
When you try to complete a task having a transition condition, the operation fails
DA-8779
with the java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError error.
DA-8775 The workload option for a queue does not list any tasks.
Workaround: Double-click the workqueue or select the workqueue and navigate
to Tools > Workqueue Management > Workload.
When using Windows 7, downloading a supported third-party SVG player to view
DA-8478
'Instance view' of a process does not work.
DA-8026 The Creation Date is not formatted correctly on the Manage Clients page.
Users must save the LDAP configuration object on the Failover tab of the LDAP
DA-3682
Server Configuration page to update the attribute mapping for LDAP failover. If
the LDAP configuration object is saved from any of the other tabs, the attribute
mapping is not updated.
The dm_message_archive object type is lost in docset properties. When a user
DA-3607
creates a new docset with a dm_message_archive object type and saves it, the
object type is lost. This behavior does not occur in any other object type except
the dm_message_archive type.
After the owner of an ACL is changed, the acl_domain of the ACL associated with
DA-1264
an object does not reflect the updated owner. The object's acl_domain has not
been updated to the new owner but is still pointing to the old owner. This can
cause security issues when viewing the object associated with the updated ACL.
For Internet Explorer, the pop-up blocker prevents HTTP content transfer
NA
operations in Documentum Administrator. Turn off the pop-up blocker for HTTP
transfer.
