Analytics Fundamentals

1st Technical session : May 7, 2024

This summary provides highlights of programme activities and touch points throughout the 4 weeks.
Weekly Activities for Learners
Review the weekly learning plan sent from the Learner Support Team every Monday.
Complete 2-3 hours of self-paced online learning every week.
Attend live classes for 1.5–2 hours per week.
Participate in the two exercises posted to the IBM SkillsBuild Community Board
Receive a personalized weekly progress report.
Mentor support for technical queries and teaching assistance will be available Monday to Friday on the IBM
SkillsBuild Community Discussion Board Forum and via email.

Weekly Learning Plan Schedule:


Week 1 - Introduction to Data Analysis Week 3 - Final Project and Course Conclusion

Techniques Follow Up for completion of Self-paced online training.
Hands-on Data Cleaning Techniques: Removing Mentor support for completion of project
duplicates, handling missing values Project evaluation and feedback to the learner
Hands-on Data Filtering and Sorting: Filtering data

Hands-on Data Aggregation: Aggregating data to analysis. From connecting to data to constructing basic
