• DK yarn in 3 colours

• 3mm hook
• 6mm safety eyes / 4ply yarn or embroidery thread for eyes

Terms
MR = magic ring
CH = chain
SS = slip stitch
SC = single crochet (US), double crochet (UK)
HDC = half double crochet (US), half treble crochet (UK)

Use body colour.
Round 1: 6sc in a mr
Round 2: [inc] around (12)
Round 3: [sc, inc] around (18)
Round 4: [sc, inc, sc] around (24)
Round 5: [inc, 3sc] around (30)
Round 6-9: sc around
Round 10: [dec, 3sc] around (24)
Round 11: [sc, dec, sc] around (18)
If using safety eyes, place between rounds 7 & 8, 5 stitches apart.

Body
Use body colour.
Round 1: 6sc in a mr

Feet (make 2)
Use limb colour.
Round 1: 6sc in a mr
Round 2: sc around
Round 3: Without stuffing, fold foot in half and sc closed (3)

Ears (make 2)
Use limb colour.
Row 1: Leaving a long sewing tail to start, ch4. Sc in 2 nd ch from hook. Place a stitch marker in the space
between the sc and the turning ch. Hdc in the next ch, 3dc in the last ch.
Row 2: In the other side of the starting ch, 2dc in the 1 st ch, hdc in the next ch, sc in the next ch, ss in the
marked space.
Fo and weave in end.
Wings (make 2)
Use limb colour. Here inc = 2hdc in the next stitch.

Scarf
Use scarf colour.
Row 1: ch52, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch to end (50)

Photo Tutorial Section
Step 1: Place the two pieces together. Thread the needle around the
post of the first stitch on the first piece and pull through.

Step 2: Thread the needle through the adjacent stitch on the
second piece and pull through.
Step 3: Thread the needle around the post of the next stitch on the
first piece and pull through.
Step 4: Thread the needle around the post of the next stitch on the
second piece and pull through.
Step 5: Go along the two pieces in the same way for a few stitches.
