We, the First-year students from Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) from Colegio de Las Navas (CDLN), are
currently conducting our community service in your Barangay on April 06, 2024 to May 11, 2024 every Saturday. This
project is entitled “Producing Quality Education by Eradicating Malnutrition” aims to help the children receive the proper
nutrition. Recently, malnutrition has become one of the serious problems for them. We’re planning to hold the program
at the Barangay Court of San Fernando. The program includes Feeding program, Teaching for Children’s and Sports.

We are asking for your permission so we can make this put into reality.

I’m hoping for your outmost support and positive response for the validity of this community service. Your permission

 “EAT RIGHT LIVE STRONG” (Health)
II. Proponent:
 30 Childrens of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) (3 to 4 years old)
III. Time/Duration:
 6 weeks (April to May 2024)
IV. Objectives:
 To provide nutritious meals in sufficient quantity, prepared with fresh ingredients.
 To promote healthy eating practices among children
 To reduce and prevent malnutrition or under nutrition.
V. Rational:
 San Fernando Day Care Center, I decided to choose this place and I am going to offer a community
service (Feeding) in the pupils. To reduce occurrence of malnutrition in the barangay San Fernando Day
Care Center. I must introduce development programs. The most common problem in this community is
food and financial. Majority in this barangay are suffering from hunger and even starving to death. I think
we need government, organization and foundation to implement program that could help our
community. Feeding program is the most outreached solution could offer in our community. The best
preparation for children in Barangay San Fernando Day Care Center to encourage healthy living through
healthy eating. This project also aspires to teach their families importance of Budgeting and providing
healthy foods at a very minimal cost.

 20 Childrens Kinder Garten of San Fernando Elementary School (SFES) (4 to 5 years old)
III. Time/Duration:
 6 weeks (April to May 2024)
IV. Objectives:
 To identify basic colors, shapes and lines.
 To recognize letter sound relationships.
 To improve pupils for academic performance.
V. Rational:
 San Fernando Elementary School (SFES) kinder Garten, Lack of school materials is one of the problems
why many children are involved and do not know how to read, write and identify shapes, color and lines.
The main reason for such problems is poverty. Many parents are facing financial instability that they are
not able to support their children’s education. Due to these problems, parents could not provide the
needs of their children and results to labor exploitation instead of pursuing education. There are also
some of teachers extending beyond their work just for their students to continue their education in
which they are using their own money to provide school supplies for the students who lack on capacity
of providing their own materials for school. With all of these, we would like to help students by providing
materials for their study and also to teach. As a student, we know the importance of having necessary
materials to cope with education and become performing students.

 20 Childrens Grade 1 of San Fernando Elementary School (SFES) (6 to 7years old)
III. Time/Duration:
 6 weeks (April to May 2024)
IV. Objectives:
 Promote cognitive development.
 Helps Children to learn how to interact with others.
 Children develop the virtue of sportsmanship.
V. Rational:
 San Fernando Day Care Center, one of the things I noticed from Grade 1 pupils are not able to play
outside in the classroom because they are ashamed to play them together with their classmates. And
some of pupils probably focus on the gadget all day instead of playing outside in the classroom’s our,
group decided to do a project proposal that children should be active in playing of Larong Lahi because it
helps to reduce their stress level. It also exercises for both their body and brain. The benefits of playing
are good and it can also help strengthen the body.
